MonteLago Village

MonteLago Village at Lake Las Vegas was designed to resemble an Italian town, complete with cobblestone streets, fountains and village squares.

Even if you don't feel like you're in Italy, you'll still feel a million miles away from Vegas. Strolling through this quaint collection of shops on the shore of Lake Las Vegas is an extremely relaxing experience.

Mountain scenery, lakeside paths, beautiful flowers and landscaping and an abundance of benches help make this the most tranquil shopping experience in town.

MonteLago Village features a unique collection of boutique-type stores and restaurants that you won't find anywhere else in town.

PINK features women's clothing and accessories including shoe, jewelry and more. There is also a nice collection of men's, women's and children's apparel at Movement..

Art lovers will enjoy perusing Collector’s Fine Art Glass Artique, a showcase featuring the work of over 30 artists from around the world.

Alexander Perfume and Cosmetics is another exclusive store with just one other location in La Jolla, Calif. Here you'll find European cosmetics, skin care and perfumes.

It wouldn't be an Italian village without a gelato shop, so be sure to stop by Tutti Gelati for authentic Italian ice cream.

If chocolate is more your taste, pop into the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for a selection of tasty treats.

Other dining options at MonteLago include Como's, a casual steakhouse with a lunch and dinner menu. Take advantage of the outdoor seating and enjoy the view.

MonteLago Village will add more stores, restaurants and nightlife in the coming months. It's worth the drive out to Lake Las Vegas to see what happens next.

Movies Al Fresco: Every Thursday from June 5 - August 21, 2008, visitors can bring a blanket and see the stars on screen while relaxing under the stars in the sky. Admission is free.

Jazz on the Lake: Every Saturday through the end of summer, MonteLago Village hosts its popular lakeside concerts. See these talented national and local jazz artists perform live while relaxing in a peaceful atmosphere by the lake. Coolers are not allowed, but dogs are welcome. Admission is free.

Classic Car Show: On Sept. 28, 2008, MonteLago Village pays tribute to the "oldies but goodies." Car owners come here and compete for trophies. Visitors can also enjoy live music.

Octoberfest: Every Friday and Saturday in the month of October, MonteLago Village hosts weekend festivals featuring a beer garden, authentic Bavarian food and entertainment.

Fall Fine Arts Festival: From October 18-19, 2008, shoppers can purchase a gift at this showcase. The festival features a variety of artwork created by dozens of artisans.

Winter Wonderland: From Nov. 14 - Dec. 31, 2008, MonteLago Village celebrates the holidays in style. On Nov. 14, 2008, visitors can witness the annual tree lighting ceremony and the opening of the floating ice rink. During the holiday season, the whole family can enjoy Santa, carolers and the ice rink.
