Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill Review:

Renowned Chef Gordon Ramsay has opened his second Las Vegas restaurant, Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, at Caesars Palace. The contemporary yet casual restaurant and bar serves lunch and dinner in an English pub-style setting.

The lunch menu, served from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. daily, features pub snacks and small plates, soups, burgers, sandwiches and more. Try the mac 'n' cheese,' made with black truffles, gruyère, English cheddar and Parmesan cheeses, topped with duck fat croutons.

The pub menu is served nightly from 3 p.m. - close and features elevated British pub food in a comfortable and lively setting showing sporting events from across the world. The pub includes 24 beers served on tap plus 63 bottled beers including a selection of large format varieties. With an eye toward dishes that pair well with beer the pub menu includes snacks like Scotch eggs, pork duck rillettes and pub spot - a British version of a slider - as well as main courses of shepherd's pie and the classic Yorkshire Ale Batter fish and chips.

The grill section of the restaurant features a relaxed and friendly setting. The menu is served nightly from 5 p.m. - 11 p.m. Start your dinner with a bread basket that includes to-die-for pretzel bread sticks with bacon, served with a cheese spread with a touch of horseradish. Appetizers include a shrimp salad, lamb riblettes and soups. The English ale onion soup is topped with a Welsh rarebit crouton and is an amazing twist on traditional French onion soup.

Main dishes include a variety of seafood options. Don't miss the sauteed Scottish salmon, served with bacon-braised cabbage, forest mushrooms, lemon cream and garlic chips. The braised pork belly roll is another menu standout, served with English pea puree, cipollini onion, baby carrots and mustard sauce.

Be sure to save room for dessert. British favorites like sticky toffee pudding and spotted dog are on the menu. Other options include a scrumptious butterscotch pot de creme and a peanut butter and jelly cobbler made with blackberry and peanut-oat crumble.

On Sundays, the restaurant serves a traditional English Sunday roast prix-fixe menu from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. The quintessential Sunday roast menu highlights chicory and roasted beet salad to start and includes rosemary-roasted prime beef ribeye, seared Scottish salmon, roasted fingerling potatoes, honey-thyme-roasted carrots and parsnips, minted English peas, Yorkshire pudding, red wine marrow sauce and horseradish cream served family style. The meal concludes with berries and cream.

A wall made from 175 kegs separates rooms in Gordon Ramsay's Pub & Grill, while artwork pays tribute to the Tower of London, St. Paul's and Big Ben. The centerpiece is a striking bar showcasing beer taps in front of a backdrop inspired by traditional British red telephone booths. The staff uniforms are inspired by the English punk scene and are designed by Allison Leach, who has designed for "Glee" and "Mad Men."

Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill features a patio area extending into the casino, a vintage-style lounge, a series of casual dining rooms and a private dining room.
