Central Michel Richard offers a 24-hour dining option with an upscale twist from James Beard award-winning chef Michel Richard. The casual-dining restaurant is located off the main lobby at Caesars Palace.
Central's whimsical interior includes a tall stack of oversized plates and those same plates are also part of a hanging ceiling sculpture. There is a front bar area that is accessible from the hotel lobby as well as from the restaurant. The restaurant seats 220 inside, 75 at the bar and boasts a large patio decorated with white lounge furniture including swings, comfortable couches, oversized umbrellas, pub-style tables and shaded dining areas.
The food at Central includes appetizers like deviled eggs and gougeres (fluffy cheese puffs). The bacon onion tart is more of a flat bread, with a thin cracker-like crust. There's also a charcuterie and a cheese plate, which are always great for noshing.
For main courses, enjoy a ribeye steak or filet mignon. There are also short ribs, braised 72 hours, on the menu -- served with polenta. Other dishes include Richard's signature fried chicken, cioppino and Chilean sea bass.
