Holstein's Review:
Holstein's offers gourmet burgers using fresh, organic ingredients. This isn't your average burger joint. For starters, all the toppings, buns and condiments are made in-house. The burgers are made with premium meats, as are the house-made sausages. Try the "Gold Standard Burger," a hamburger made with dry-aged beef, a rarity for hamburgers. There are plenty of other noshes and nibbles to keep your taste buds happy too. There are two elements that make Holstein's special. First, there's a beer cicerone--think sommelier, only with beer. With a large selection of artisanal brews, draft and bottled ales, ciders and beers, this place is a great place to drink up. Second, not many burger joints have a stellar pastry chef. In addition to adult shakes like the mint chocolate "Frozen Grasshopper" and the peanut butter banana "Drunken Monkey," Holstein's also offers unique desserts, including a sweet dessert burger. -- Nikki Neu
