Located on the third floor of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill is one part diner, one part gourmet sushi restaurant. This creative hybrid is the brainchild of restaurateurs and brothers Bruce and Eric Bromberg. The two are already successful, owning eight restaurants in New York, and now bring Blue Ribbon to Las Vegas.
The dish to get: Blue Ribbon's famous fried chicken, served extra crispy with wasabi honey.
Of course, there is plenty of stellar sushi involved as well. The yellowtail sashimi is amazing, and the omakase (chef?s choice of fresh sashimi) is also a great way to try a bit of the best and freshest fish of the day. In addition to sushi, sashimi and Japanese favorites, there is also American fare like steaks and chops available.
Be sure and try some of the creative fusion dishes Blue Ribbon has to offer, like a twist on baked clams, served with miso butter, braised short ribs with truffle teriyaki sauce or crystalized ginger bread pudding.
