Gilley's Saloon, Dance Hall & BBQ Review:

Three words: Bikini bull riding.

Though this event is only in the saloon area, it's still quite a draw for Gilley's Saloon and Dance Hall. You'll see more of the "big-Texas" theme throughout Gilley's in the saddle stools at the bar, the boot-shaped drinking glasses and yes, the mechanical bull. If you continue down the hallway, you enter the long dining hall area, where floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors face the Las Vegas Strip. There's also a small outdoor patio, perfect for viewing the Sirens of TI pirate show.

When you plan to dine at Gilley's, come hungry. The Texas-sized portions of barbecue and extra large burgers with plenty of sides are sure to satiate your appetite.

For appetizers, try the fried green tomatoes, a Southern classic. Or, head straight for the sampler where you get a few bites of favorites like the barbecue pulled pork sliders, chicken fingers and hush puppies.

Entrées include tender fried chicken, juicy ribs and hot link sausages brought in from Texas. Sandwiches and juicy burgers are also available. All the food is done Texas-style. The ribs are smoked and slathered with barbecue sauce.

One highlight on the menu is the crispy sweet potato fries, served with a fluffy marshmallow crème dipping sauce.

Gilley's offers Texas-style food and fun for the whole family during the day. At night, the saloon turns into one of the hottest country-style bars on the Las Vegas Strip.
