BarMasa, brought to you by New York Chef Masayoshi Takayama, will feature traditional Japanese cuisine like sushi, with a little flair thrown in. The space will feature raw materials like glass, woods, concrete, and metals. The clean design will make for a perfect backdrop to Takayama's savory cuisine.
In Shaboo, guests can experience hot pot cooking, or shabu-shabu-style cooking. Using the shabu-shabu method, guests cook small pieces of meat and vegetables in boiling water or broth. This dining area will feature cocoon-style lighting, highlighting Takayama's belief in privacy.
