Sage is a sophisticated restaurant featuring vibrant hues of purple and alluring warm yellow tones. Large wall murals and seductive velvet banquettes line one wall, while a large bar takes the other.
Past the bar area lies the main dining room with the same color palette and ambiance. The drink menu at the bar uses fresh ingredients like muddled mint to ensure quality cocktails.
Sage's food is approachable, upscale fare. Fresh fish, meats and produce are served simply, but elegantly.
Of course, Chef Richard Camarota, under the direction of Chef Shawn McClain, always has a few unique dishes to offer.
A few highlights on the menu include foie gras crème brûlée and the slow-poached organic egg, served with shaved summer truffles and bread. Think the creamiest, most heavenly sunny-side up egg you've ever had.
Main courses include a delicious short rib dish, braised veal cheeks, a rare Iberico pork loin and duck breast with figs and scallions.
When dining at Sage, be sure to ask for the absinthe tasting -- a rare presentation of absinthe, rolled to your table on a cart.
For dessert, don't miss the chocolate peanut butter tart.
