Cottage Café offers traditional Ethiopian food, deliciously prepared and served in a casual setting with accents of Ethiopia around the restaurant. Dishes offered include various vegetarian options like Yekik Alicha, peas in a mild sauce with spices or Yatakilt Alicha, steamed vegetables and traditional collard greens. Additionally, meat options include gored-gored, which is made of diced beef with spicy butter, mitmita, onion and peppers. Shifinfin is spiced beef or lamb stew premix with injera, and tasty lamb stew or Yebeg Alicha Fit-Fit or Yebeg Alicha with garlic and ginger are also good options. Ethiopian takes on American food include Kitfo Sandwich, chopped beef and spiced butter, egg omelet, homemade burgers and spaghetti with spiced sauce.
