Off the Tower Suites lobby at Wynn Resort, the perfect breakfast and lunch spot awaits your arrival. Tableau offers guests an approachable menu in what looks like a grand solarium.
The windows and doors in the rotunda are adorned with thick moldings in mossy green. Hints of color are in the floral displays, tall vases filled with purple and green flowers. Booths covered in rich velvet are in gorgeous hues of bright ruby red grapefruit. The solarium looks out to the private pool area and the country-style windows open to let in the fresh air. There is also a lounge-style room where your meal can also be served.
Tableau is almost a secret. Removed from the casino floor, it's easy to get to, but hard to find the first time you go. If you're driving, you can even use the Tower Suites valet service close by.
Usually, I get right to the food, but the setting is important because it's quite simply, the perfect place to have a quiet breakfast, lunch or weekend brunch.
For breakfast, Tableau offers traditional dishes like eggs Benedict and omelets, fresh fruit plates and smoked salmon on a bagel.
For lunch, a delicious beet salad and tuna tartare with flat bread crisps are good options. If you're looking for something simpler, try the classic Kobe burger, clam chowder or shrimp cocktail. In fact, the whole menu is simple and approachable but executed well. The restaurant offers guests flavorful cuisine using top-quality ingredients.
Saturday and Sunday brunch offer guests an opportunity to sample highlights from the breakfast and lunch menus.
Tableau satiates both your palate and your quest for luxury in Las Vegas -- even while eating your eggs.
