The Burger Bar's menu is a creative exercise: Diners build their sandwiches from compartments of the menu that have names such as "The Farm," "The Ocean" and "The Earth" (an all-mushroom section). How about a veggie burger on focaccia bread with a beetroot pickle and a few spears of asparagus? Get the idea? Permutations are endless, and sides, such as sweet potato fries, are divine.
Décor is American retro (leatherette booths and counters with stools), and the dessert menu features sweet burgers, which are halved doughnuts with chocolate ganache and other facsimiles resembling burger patties.
