Giorgio Caffé & Ristorante in Mandalay Place offers fresh Italian food to a variety of guests.
There’s a great bar area, a more casual front room, with vibrant colors and a view of shoppers in Mandalay Place and the quieter back room, with plush curtains and ambient lighting.
Appetizers include eggplant parmigiano, fried calamari, and a traditional antipasto platter including procsciutto, mozzarella and olives. A garlic flavored bruschetta with fresh tomatoes, basil and a drizzle of olive oil is a great way to start the meal.
There are a variety of pizzas, like the pizza quattro stagioni, with tomato sauce, mozzarella, ham, artichokes and mushrooms, sprinkled with black olives.
A variety of salads like the classic Caesar or the Mediterranean chopped salad filled with chopped cucumber, basil, mozzarella and tomato are great options. The tasty green salad is a simple, arugula, radicchio, and Belgium endive mix with fresh shaved parmesan and drizzled with olive oil.
Pastas, sure to satisfy a variety of appetites, include penne with shrimp in a pink sauce, rigatoni with a meat sauce, a tender butternut squash ravioli, and classic fettuccini Alfredo. Pappardelle pasta, made from scratch, is served with a creamy tomato sauce, sausage, and basil.
Meat options include a well-seasoned osso bucco, braised in red wine. The bone-in veal shank is tender, and flavorful. Be sure to scoop the bone marrow out (the best part!) and smear on table bread.
Salmon, chicken parmigiano and beef tenderloin with fig demi glace are other options.
Dessert includes a variety of traditional Italian options including tiramisu and fresh made cannolis.
There are a few great things about Giorgio. First, Executive Chef Luciano Pellegrini and Chef Nico Chessa create fresh, Italian cuisine that is accessible to a variety of budgets. With large-portioned appetizers, generous-portioned pastas and flavorful entrées, you can stop by Giorgio for lunch and dinner, for drinks and appetizers or a full meal.
There is also a great wine selection and specialty cocktails, like the pomegranate margarita, Italian margarita or Elton’s apple, with Tall Blonde vodka, sour apple, midori and shaken with sweet and sour.
Conveniently located in Mandalay Place between the Mandalay Bay and Luxor properties, Giorgio offers great Italian food for a variety of clientele.
