San Francisco Shrimp Bar & Deli

There's nothing that says classic Las Vegas quite like the iconic shrimp cocktail at the Golden Gate's San Francisco Shrimp Bar & Deli. Where else can $1.99 get you such a tasty tidbit?

The cocktail is simplicity at its delicious best. Small (but not miniscule) fresh bay shrimp from the Pacific Ocean are piled high in a fluted sundae glass and topped with a dollop of zesty cocktail sauce. A slice of lemon and saltine crackers are offered as sides.

For a few bucks more, you can get a "Big Shrimp" cocktail or a combination shrimp/imitation crab meat cocktail. Both are good and filling seafood snacks. $2 will get you a double-down Vegas-style treat that will hold you over until dinner (especially if dinner will be at 4 a.m.).

The San Francisco Shrimp Bar & Deli also offers good deals on plain but honest sandwiches, hot dogs and rotating daily specials like beef stroganoff.
