Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville restaurant Review:

Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville is a restaurant and bar with a laid-back party vibe and free-flowing tequila, but it also offers hearty and healthy dishes to satisfy your appetite.

The nautical theme and beachy decor are reflected in the menu at Margaritaville, which features lots of fresh seafood and dishes with island flair.

Start out with the Drunken Shrimp Skillet -- shrimp sauteed with tequila key lime butter, roasted garlic, onions and peppers, served with bread for dunking.

Other tasty appetizers include asiago crab dip with lump crab meat in a sharp asiago cheese. There is also a small bites menu with items like Maryland-style crab cake sliders and beach tacos. You can choose from carne asada, braised pork carnitas or chicken tinga.

Entrees include salads, burgers, sandwiches and more. Don't miss the LandShark Lager fish & chips, which features fish hand-dipped in Margaritaville's own LandShark Beer batter, served with a tasty and spicy jalapeno tartar sauce and cilantro lime coleslaw.

Meat lovers will enjoy the chimichurri flat iron steak, a 10-ounce filet injected with papaya juice to make it extra tender, served with chimichurri and fries.

Margaritaville also serves a large gluten-free menu with entrees like New York strip, black grouper, taco salad and even a gluten-free brownie sundae.

Vegetarians can enjoy several choices including black bean and roasted corn tacos and a veggie Cobb salad.

Of course with a name like Margaritaville you know you have to get a drink to go along with your meal. Specialty margaritas include the "Who's to Blame?" with Margaritaville Gold Tequila, triple sec and house margarita blend or the "Fins to the Left,"with Margaritaville Silver Tequila, blue curacao and house margarita blend.

There are a variety of other frozen drinks and non-alcoholic specialties available as well, including a fresh house made strawberry lemonade.

Desserts round out the menu at Margaritaville and if you have a group, go for the Chocolate Hurricane. The massive sundae is made with a pint of Ben & Jerry's Vanilla Bean ice cream, brownies, Kit Kats, Heath Bars, shortbread cookies, sliced banana, whipped cream and chopped macadamia nuts -- all swirled with chocolate and caramel sauces.

For a lighter finish, be sure to try the refreshingly tart key lime pie, made with a graham cracker crust.
