Café at Harrah's Review:
The Café at Harrah's offers a variety of dishes in a casual setting 24 hours a day. The Café, formerly the Garden Café, recently was redesigned by the Friedmutter Group and the Harrah's Las Vegas management team. The Tuscany-style restaurant features cream and taupe finishes, soft woods and bright mosaic tile work. Breakfast items range from fresh fruit and yogurt to eggs Benedict and cinnamon-raisin French toast. Stop by for lunch and choose the grilled chicken cobb salad or the pear salad with arugula, candied pecans and vanilla balsamic vinaigrette. Other lunch items include the shrimp club sandwich, blackened prime rib sandwich, oven-baked chicken, eggplant and focaccia sandwich and burgers cooked to order. If you're in the mood for pizza, satisfy your craving with flavors such as barbecue chicken pizza, smoked shrimp pizza or the quartto formaggi pizza -- all made in the wood-burning exhibition oven. Dinner entrées include pan-seared blue nose bass, fire-roasted half chicken, slow-roasted prime rib and surf and turf. For dessert, guests may indulge in caramelized banana bread pudding, crème brûlée, mile-high marble cheesecake or the ultimate ice cream sandwich.
