House of Lords Steakhouse Review:

House of Lords at Sahara Hotel and Casino is one of the few classic steakhouses left in Las Vegas. House of Lords was a favorite of celebrity clientele like the Rat Pack, back in the day. Now, The House of Lords has been updated for guests to enjoy great steak and seafood in a Moroccan setting.

The years have certainly treated House of Lords well with elegant decorations, Moroccan tile and fixtures, a canopy of stars, stained glass and plush booths for a romantic setting.

Starters include classic shrimp cocktail and steak tartare, crab cakes, a rich corn and lobster chowder and salads including classic caesar and a classic iceberg wedge.

A variety of steaks and chops, including filet mignon, veal chops and rack of lamb are all available with sauces like lemon tarragon, forest mushroom and port reduction.

Seafood options include blackened mahi-mahi, wild salmon and diver scallops in a saffron citrus risotto and lemon herb sauce.

Surf and Turf -- steak and lobster with an eight-ounce filet and Australian lobster tail makes a great duo.

Vegetarian options include a roasted vegetable medley and a pappardelle pasta.

Desserts include New York cheese cake and a molten lava chocolate cake, topped with cappuccino ice cream.

The House of Lords Steakhouse in the Sahara is a Las Vegas landmark that is truly worthy of a visit.
