Victory's Café Review:
The 2,375-square-foot Victory's Café has colorful, patriotic decor with murals depicting World War II bomber nose art. The open-air style café is adjacent to the Cannery's casino, so floor noise does tend to drift to the booths and tables. But it isn't overbearing, and the attentive, friendly service more than makes up for that. Because the restaurant is open 24/7, the popular dish of the hour is dictated by the time of day. Around lunchtime, sandwiches, soups and salads are the popular choices, all of them at bargain prices. An entrée favorite is the restaurant's 12-ounce prime rib, available any time of day. Victory's varied breakfast menu also is served around the clock for diners craving eggs or pancakes. The appetizer menu includes buffalo chicken wings and shrimp cocktail, among other options. A brownie sundae and cheesecake top the dessert menu. A full-service bar, Booze & Bets, is part of the restaurant and offers a variety of beer, wine and mixed drinks. -- Staff Report
