Alizé (the French word for trade wind) is celebrated Chef André Rochat's French restaurant atop the 56th floor of the Palms' tower. With breathtaking views of the Las Vegas Strip and beyond, the atmosphere at Alizé is inspiring.
Cuisine at Alizé includes delicious salads like a bed of greens, pecans and a phyllo-wrapped pear and Roquefort cheese triangle. Escargot, pan-seared foie gras and French onion soup are other options.
For main courses, the Dover sole is served with two pieces of fish on top of each other and a lemony brown caper sauce over the top. There are also steak, duck and chicken options.
Dessert includes a heavenly Grand Marinier souffle and a warm chocolate fondant.
The interior of Alizé is gorgeous. Upon getting off the elevator, you walk through the wine room and the bar area. A formal yet comfortable restaurant, the main dining has amazing views via floor-to-ceiling glass windows. There is room for larger parties, but call ahead to reserve.
