ESPN Zone restaurant Review:

ESPN Zone is a two-story, 33,000-square-foot mega sports-themed restaurant inside the New York-New York Hotel & Casino. The restaurant is for the ultimate sports fan, and anyone who wants to enjoy the ultimate sports dining experience.

Watch your favorite sport while munching on American grill food including juicy steaks, salads, fresh seafood, burgers, sandwiches and decadent desserts.

Executive Chef Christopher Gagen offers a variety of casual but quality bar food and beyond. A great way to start off the game is with the ultimate tailgate. This colossal-sized platter features spinach and artichoke dip, chicken tenders, sliders, tri-colored tortilla chips, spicy and regular Buffalo wings and ribs - the kind you don’t mind getting messy for. The platter serves four (at least) and comes with three dipping sauces.

Healthier options include a variety of salads, including a Caesar and a great steak salad.

Entrées range from a colossal-sized bacon cheeseburger and heaping mound of fries, to an equally tasty Guinness roasted chicken with cheddar, bacon and chive mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables.

Desserts include an amazing chocolate chip cookie sundae. A giant cookie is served in a cast-iron skillet with two heaping scoops of vanilla ice cream, caramel and chocolate sauces and shaved chocolate. The homemade carrot cake is served warm and melts in your mouth. Menu items are added and updated seasonally.

The establishment features smoking and non-smoking areas, and a High Definition Studio Grill. The Grill is decked-out with ten 42-inch screen flat screen, high definition plasma monitors and two 50-inch monitors, sure to please the most discretionary sports fan.

There are more than 150 television monitors in ESPN Zone, including two high definition big screen projectors that are 14-feet by 12-feet. So as not to miss a second of your favorite sporting event, there are over one dozen monitors in the restrooms.

Volume checks are done about once an hour and the volume goes up or down depending on the noise level of the restaurant.

Sit in a cozy booth equipped with a private monitor and speaker control for a more intimate sports-viewing experience. There are also six recliners in the front of the main screening room complete with dinner trays so you can put your feet up, eat a burger and fries and catch up on the scores of your favorite sports teams.

The Sports Center bar is located on the lower level of the restaurant. The bar features a dozen monitors and offers walk-in dining. There is also a full upstairs bar, which seats about 100 guests and of course, has more TVs.

Across from the upper-level bar is The Sports Arena, a huge arcade that includes games and attractions, some of which are exclusively designed for ESPN Zone. Basketball college hoops, bowling lanes and a college football throwing station, designed specifically for ESPN Zone, are all part of the fun activities in the arcade. Parents can enjoy their favorite sporting event with televisions mounted over the arcade.

The ESPY room is a 10-seat private dining room ideal for more intimate parties. The room comes equipped with ESPY Award images and private wait staff, and of course, more TV monitors. The ESPY room is also equipped with broadcasting equipment.

The Bristol Suite is ideal for private dining, meetings and receptions, the room seats 50 guests and can handle receptions for up to 75 people. The Bristol Suite is ideal for private parties and business meetings and seats up to 50 guests.

The Sports Center Studio Store is jam-packed with official ESPN and ESPN Zone merchandise, including sportswear, collectibles, and souvenirs.

ESPN Zone Las Vegas is not just a restaurant, it’s the whole package. From private viewing screens in booths, to an arcade for the kids, to televisions in the bathrooms, ESPN Zone takes care of all the details to make your stay an ultimate sporting event.

In ESPN Zone, it’s great to be a sports fan.
