N9NE Review:

N9NE steak house shrieks chic. Stainless steel and Lucite, silver mesh curtains and luxurious silver fabric on the chairs are neat. As a counterpoint, there's a mix of dark walnut woods and leather and suede furniture. There's more high tech in the intelligent lighting system and plasma TVs throughout the restaurant than the latest iPod you just picked up at CES.

Central to the 175-seat dining room is the 16-seat round caviar bar where the elite meet to eat. With such splendid surroundings, you might expect higher prices, but they're well in line with upscale steak-house prices. A 24-ounce bone-in rib eye is a favorite with diners and so are the 22-ounce porterhouse and the New York strip. There are fish and pasta dishes, too. Not included, of course, are the side dishes. Steak houses are, as a rule, à la carte.

N9NE Steakhouse was named Best American restaurant in Las Vegas Life magazine's 2007 Epicurean Awards.
