N9NE Review:

N9NE at The Palms is a chic, trendy steakhouse. From the LED-lit purple ceiling to the plush booths and dark walnut woods, N9NE delivers on ambiance as well as delicious food.

N9NE is a 175-seat dining room with two bars. The first, a 16-seat round caviar bar where the elite meet to eat. The second, a straight bar with adjacent lounge area.

For appetizers, the crispy avocado fries are delicious--tender and creamy slices of avocado are lightly breaded and crispy on the outside. Other appetizers include the crab stuffed mushrooms, crispy calamari, jumbo shrimp cocktail and lobster pot stickers.

Main courses are all about beef. Seared in a 1,200-degree oven, steaks like the 35-day dry-aged bone-in ribeye come out of the oven tender, juicy and full of flavor. There is also a 22-ounce Porterhouse steak, an 8-ounce filet mignon and everything in between. For a true treat, try the 40-ounce ribeye for two--seared and served with truffle twice baked potato and au poivre sauce.

If beef doesn't interest you, try the sea scallops with pea risotto, the penne with chicken and broccolini or the Colorado lamb chops with Parmesan pine nut crust and rosemary jus.

A few delicious sides include the potato gnocchi, lightly pan fried but still tender and served with truffle cream. The huge basket of steak fries are crisp and delicious, served with housemade ketchup and the creamed spinach has--wait for it--applewood smoked bacon in it!

For dessert, you have to try the s'mores. The graham crackers are lined with a chocolate ganache and you get to toast the marshmallows to the perfect char at your table.
