Great Hotel really enjoyed our stay. we love our stay. all services were great. valet was a 2 minute walk to our elevator each night when we came in late with sore feet from checking out the strip. pool was wonderful, could use more and better signage to locate pool, but it was very nice, pretty and relaxing. the grounds are beautiful, everything was beautiful. we had a sweet at thehotel, great room, loved it. only downside was the free Wi-Fi turned out to be a add on charge of $28 per day. I may have over looked that but I can fine no reference to that charge any where on the site where you check in. and they do not tell u that when u go on line. but I would stay again, just like to know everything up front. THE HOTEL not my favorite I've been to Vegas six times in the last eight years. In order I've stayed at Circus Circus, New York, a couple Hilton times shares with friends, Bellogio, and The Hotel. I would stay at all the other before The Hotel again. Reasons: had to wait three hours for a room which has not happened at the other hotels, didn't know I had to pay a resort fee of 25.00 a day until I recieved my e-mail bill (only went to the pool one of the five days), to far off the strip. I would rather be closer to the center or maybe even downtown next time. May 18, 2013
Great stay! My second stay in Vegas. THEhotel and Mandalay bay resort was much larger than I imagined - much more to offer. We spent most of our time at the beach, in one of the casino lounges, and the Irish pub in the Shoppes. We tried most of the restaurants in the resort. All excellent customer services, excellent food, fantastic staff. Haven't stopped recommending it to my friends and family since I've had to unfortunately leave and return to reality. Would definitely come back to the Mandalay bay resort! Our suite was excellent, beds very comfortable, and very clean. May 8, 2013
Great Place!! The Hotel was a beautiful and spacious hotel in Las Vegas. It is part of Mandalay Bay which is always one of the nicer venues on The Strip. The smell of The Hotel is very appealing and comforting. The rooms were tasteful and comfortable. Very nice!! May 7, 2013
The hotel at Mandalay bay casino Great place, would defiantly , book with Vegas.com again! May 5, 2013
Good hotel, far from most of the strip Great hotel to stay at, phenomenal pool, very friendly staff. Food, drinks and other extra costs comparable to elsewhere. Long walk or a Taxi to most parts of the strip, but a taxi ride to the complete opposite end is only about $15, which pales in comparison to most things in Vegas. May 4, 2013
Excellent property It was a beautiful room and the resort was magnificent! April 28, 2013
Great experience I went back to Las Vegas after a 25 year hiatus. This Hotel was a delightful surprise. It was a relaxing place to enjoy time with my family. April 23, 2013

Answer:
No, it's not long. They are connected by a short hallway. It takes only a minute or so to walk from the lobby of THEhotel and reach the casino and theater at Mandalay Bay.

It is an average walk compared to most big hotels. The walk to the workout room is way too long!

Answer:
No - it's just a few minutes - I would say no more than 5 as we did it a few times. We were headed to see the Shark Reef aquarium, and it didn't seem far to us.

Answer:
Yes and no. Now that I've stayed there i would say the walk is too far. Tie that together woth Mandalay Bay being at the far end of the strip I just found that I didn't like the location.

Answer:
It's walkable from the front of MGM, they even have the same monorail stop. You could also take the tram from walking to Excalibur which we didn't know about until trying to leave Mandalay Bay. When we were done there, we hopped the tram back to the Excalibur which we felt shortened the walking trip.
