Resort fees My only problem with my booking was the RESORT FEE... I was charged a $25 resort fee per day, for what???? That should be clearly stated since it effects the bottom line charges to your credit card... I don't have a prblem paying that, but why not disclose that at booking??? This could be the deciding factor at booking for me. January 8, 2013
hidden charges hoel was an average vegas hotel, price was good until hidden charges and taxes not expected. casino was terrible, called for ma crib at 11:00 had to call again at 3:00 a.m. they said there would be no charge, charged us anyway 35.00 er day plus 4.20 tax. Buffet was average but expensive. In room coffee was 4.50, will make plans to go to Wynn next time. January 7, 2013
Great hotel with hidden costs Surprise at check out with $25 resort fee per night plus tax. Free buffet offer different with hotel than with Vegas".com. Only honored one buffet even when rules (one per day) followed. Front desk clerk not helpful and did not disclose resort fee and buffet limitation when checking in January 6, 2013
Great for a romantic get away This suite was a great find- south on the strip, but the service and amenities make it worth it. January 6, 2013
excellent room if it wasn't for the stench of raw sewage very pleased with the interior of the room but room, but it faced a outside wall absolutly no view of the mountains or the Strip January 1, 2013
You could stay in the room all day and be happy! The hotel room is nicely laid out and set to the back so you don't hear hallway traffic and doors slamming. The bathroom is amazing, with a super deep tub. The only complaint I have is in regards to the resort fee. They charge too much and get very little. The resort fee includes internet access and use of the gym at Mandalay Bay, not even the gym at The Hotel. You have to walk quite a distance to get to the workout room, not very convenient. They have a coffee maker, but charge $4 for a cup of coffee. Most resorts at least provide you with water or coffee with the resort fee. December 31, 2012
"pet friendly Hotel is NOT friendly at All!!! Booked onlinr and thought I had a good deal. But to my shock, when we tried to check in we were told "pet friendly" rooms allowed small dogs"smelly loud yipping ankle biters" but would not even discuss a small caged bird.Iasked only for a non smoking room, and was told to leave and not come back... Great Hotel Excellent trip mainly due to the quality of the hotel. Will definitely stay again in this hotel upon my return to Vegas!! December 30, 2012

Answer:
No, it's not long. They are connected by a short hallway. It takes only a minute or so to walk from the lobby of THEhotel and reach the casino and theater at Mandalay Bay.

Answer:
It's walkable from the front of MGM, they even have the same monorail stop. You could also take the tram from walking to Excalibur which we didn't know about until trying to leave Mandalay Bay. When we were done there, we hopped the tram back to the Excalibur which we felt shortened the walking trip.

Answer:
It is an average walk compared to most big hotels. The walk to the workout room is way too long!
