Description

North Las Vegas resort Texas Station offers hospitality and Texas-sized entertainment options, including a 20,000 square-foot concert venue, Armadillo lounge and nightclub, 18-screen theater, 60-lane bowling center and martini bar.

Texas Station boasts the same friendly atmosphere of its sister Vegas establishments -- Boulder, Palace, Santa Fe and Sunset Stations -- but combines it with the charm, attitude and flavor of the Lone Star state.

At just more than 47 acres with a 125,000-square-foot casino, elbow room is plentiful at Texas. A wide variety of gaming -- more than 2,450 slots, 37 table games, a poker room, 500 seat bingo hall and live keno -- makes Texas Station ideal for those looking to challenge lady luck.

Several full-service restaurants -- Austins Steakhouse (winner of numerous Las Vegas best steakhouse awards), Texas Star Oyster Bar, a giant buffet and a number of other eateries -- offer great dining. Enjoy a drink and piano music at A Bar before your dinner or stop by the Martini Bar after and have one of their metropolitan cocktails with a Western flavor.

South Padre plays host to live musical acts on Friday and Saturday nights with an intimate, yet nonexclusive cabaret air. International recording star Bertie Higgins brings his island paradise sounds to the club from 7 to 9:30 p.m., while Anthem provides a blast from the past with its '70's inspired music from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. The Dallas Events Center, meanwhile, hosts big-name entertainment.

The entire family will enjoy the 18-screen Regal Cinemas, which offers everything from Hollywood blockbusters to independent films in plush comfort and state-of-the-art dazzle, with stadium seating and THX stereo. And did we mention the 24-hour, 60-lane bowling center that features a bowling nightclub on Fridays and Saturdays?

There's a lot to do deep in the heart of Texas. You had better get moseying along, partner, or it's going to pass you by.

good deal, you get what you pay for, but its safe and clean good deal, you get what you pay for, but its safe and clean March 19, 2012
I was very unhappy with our stay there March 17, 2012
Stay some where that they do not charge a resort fee..because even if the hotel that does not charge a fee may be a little more per night it really is not...when you add the rate then add the fee you are at about the same price as the other hotels even on the strip.. Would have been nice to have coffee in the rooms. Also I did not like the resort fee...I did not use any of them...I feel it should be up to the individual guest if they want to use any of the items offered under the resort fee. February 27, 2012
Great pricing good dining options and away from the hustle and bustle November 9, 2011
Good value, clean, accommodating. Great buffet, rooms close to the casino and food areas. October 21, 2011
I would describe this hotel as inexpensive alternative to staying in Downtown Las Vegas. I would describe this hotel as inexpensive alternative to staying in Downtown Las Vegas. October 19, 2011
I'd rather not say... I only stayed for one night and the morning experience of not being able to shower...well just didn't make my stay ): October 18, 2011
Clean and great accomidations. U don't have to leave the casino to have fun. We had the twins and they had a blast! Clean and great accomidations. U don't have to leave the casino to have fun. We had the twins and they had a blast! October 18, 2011
