NO AIR CONDITIONING but Okay 20 minute walk to "Pawn Stars" 30 minute to Downtown Las Vegas (great entertainment) We checked in, left our bags in the room and turned on the AC. Walked to downtown Las Vegas had so much fun. Returned to room to find the AC didn't cool. We had to sleep with the balcony door open all night. Also, the TV has cable channels but very poor signal. it was a cheap place I didn't like that the beds were old nd the room had a smell to it ! February 4, 2014
Super 8 was good for me Although it is a two-star hotel, I thought it was a good hotel. I did not have any problems during my stay. I attended the Life Is Beautiful festival and I was able to get an affordable room with two beds at this motel, and it was close enough to walk to and from the festival grounds. The beds were great and the size of the room was OK. The bathroom was tight and there was an old television, but for what I bought it for; I think the room was great. I would recommend this motel for those looking to attend the festival in future years. October 30, 2013
Good price for an adequate room The room was good, all the amenities you could need and perfectly comfortable. The staff were friendly and willing to help if you asked. They even printed off a map to the bus I needed and such. The location, if you want The Strip, is poor. It's quite a long walk even to the Stratosphere and then there is a massive gap between that hotel/casino to Circus Circus. However, there is a bus route, so it isn't too hard to get there if you're willing to make the effort. It is however, in a very good location for Downtown and Fremont Street. It's perfectly walkable and, in my opinion, is more entertaining than The Strip anyway. The wedding chapels and tattoo parlors and such lining the street either side of the hotel are a little worrying, but nothing untoward happened in my stay and, if you're careful at night, there's little reason to worry. Overall, i enjoyed my stay. If I'd had more budget The Strip hotels might have been preferable, especially entertainment wise (as this hotel has no pool or casino etc, you just get a room), but this was still good. This hotel is economical but risky! If you want to have a cheap stay and save some money than Super 8 is great! Unfortunately, the area is not the best area for a family setting. There is a lot of people doing drugs and I felt my safety was at risk. The staff is very nice, and very helpful! August 21, 2013
Ok room. You get what you pay for... Room had horrible beds. Very stiff. Spend a few more bucks and get a better room somewhere else. No casino and no pool to be seen. August 13, 2013
This Super 8 is the worst hotel ever!!!!! It should be tore down. Terrible place could ruin your vacation! Everything about this place is garbage. Wouldn't let my dog stay here. April 23, 2013
Super 8 was ok The room/service was adequate. Nothing special. The parking lot was rundown. The room was somewhat small. April 15, 2013
