Silverton Description

Reminiscent of a rustic mountain lodge and situated just off the Strip, the Silverton offers something for everyone, including affordable rooms, a gigantic Bass Pro Shops, a top-notch steak house and a huge saltwater aquarium.

Decorated in earth tones and accented by amber-tinged lighting, stone and wood, the hotel has become a favorite for locals and visitors alike. The Aspen-inspired Twin Creeks has been lauded by both locals and critics.

Pop group Hootie & The Blowfish has partnered with the Silverton in the hotel's $150 million casino-wide expansion by adding its name and memorabilia to the cozy Shady Grove Lounge. The group also has signed on to perform a few concerts a year at the 24-hour venue, which plays host to a variety of headlining acts.

The 60,000-square-foot casino boasts its own aquatic wonderland, the Mermaid Restaurant & Lounge and it's 117,000-gallon saltwater tank with more than 5,000 tropical fish.

Guests at the Silverton also can enjoy the 165,00-square-foot outdoor enthusiast's paradise, the Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World. The first Bass Pro Shops in the West, the store offers everything from hunting supplies to boats, fishing lures and golf gear. The store also offers an archery range, rock-climbing wall, two pistol and rifle ranges and a huge aquarium filled with fish to practice your casting skills.

Whether relaxing in one of the 300 refurbished rooms and suites or dining among tree branches and landscape images on TVs at the Sundance Grill, guests are sure to feel cozy and welcome at the Silverton.
