Beautiful Resort. Xtra Charges when you arrive. We Booked & paid in full in advance on vegas.com and then was charged extra at the resort for WIFI, Parking & Pool Access + TAX!!!! We didn't have a car and didn't use WIFI or the Pool but were still charged and had to pay it! WOW! May 10, 2013
More basic than boutique Truly regretted our 3 nights stay here. At check-in I signed a form on the penalties of smoking in the room, rather standard no issue. When I opened the door to the room, I was hit by a stench of cigarette smoke. Upon further inspection, there was a cigarette butt on the floor of the balcony. If they don't maintain your rooms, don't make the guest sign for these penalties. So we asked for a room change and were shifted across the hall to the opposite room, no balcony, no tub. Not that the first had a tub. We were promised a better room the next day (this offer didn't materialise) On the same night, past 12 midnight the fire alarm on the property went off shocking the guests. And it went on and off for about 3 or 4 times. On our last night, my companion wanted to use the hair dryer, there wasn't one in the room. So we called up the front desk to request for one. It never came so I went down to ask for it. The manager says it's just 5 minutes. I didn't want to argue with him that it wasn't and obviously nothing was done till I went down. So he checks the empty rooms and gives the security guard the list and key to get a hair dryer. The guard declined my offer to follow him so he doesn't have to walk to and fro. I guess he was concerned that it would take some time. Anyway we finally got the hair dryer, my companion's hair was almost dry. I think this hotel is more BASIC than BOUTIQUE. A less generous reviewer might even call it BUDGET. I have stayed at various hotels in LV before from Gold coast to Palazzo and those places met my expectation be they $35 pn or $200 pn. But this place really was below my expectation. February 27, 2013
Average, not too nice but cheap. You get what you pay for. This is a cheap alternative, but very simple. The people were nice and courteous, rooms were clean, and room service food surprisingly good. The outdoor landscaping was kind of dirty, just seemed like and older hotel that had a quick and not too detailed renovation, put some bright colors and art. Basically, if you are looking for a nice hotel with lots of amenities, pay the extra amount and stay at a nice place on the strip. If you want to save the money and don't plan to hang around the hotel too much, this is your place. February 11, 2013
Great room. Great decor. We didn't use the casino (but I didn't see one) and didn't use the pool (it was winter), but the decor, price and service were great. Loved the room!! January 7, 2013
Rumor Boutuque - LV The Rumor hotel is a beautifully designed hotel in downtown Las Vegas, 1 mile from the strip, close enough to walk. One of the nicest hotels we've stayed at, several two story white bungelows situtated around a sparking, blue pool with cabanas, palm trees with hamocks. Get a room with a balcony overlooking the pool and you'll love it. The staff was very friendly and it was a pleasure to stay at the Rumor, Vegas.com is the way to go and book tickets online and you'll save alot. We highly recommend the Rumor Boutique. poor quality, front desk poor customer service The front desk do not pay attention to your room I reserved. Deluxe they gave me a junior and not even explain to me why until I find out and complain some workers there are kind and smart and they help me but was too late. Not at all what it seams I was not a fan It does not look like it does on line and I couldnt get any extra blankets even though I asked at check in I asked for an extra sheet they never brought it and the phone in the room was broke Over all this place was funky and I wont stay there again I will stay at the travelodge of the motle 6 because atleast those places are honest \ October 9, 2012
Not a family hotel. Loved the lobby. Iron was broken and it took 20 minutes to get a replacement. March 19, 2012
