You also notice the attention to detail: A samovar with cucumber or fruit-infused water to refresh you after a long journey. The friendly greeting you'll receive at check-in. Some of the rooms at Ravella are located on the Ponte Vecchio bridge -- right over Lake Las Vegas. The pool and beach area with soft white sand are also by the lake. The pool is tranquil and elegant, with plenty of lounge chairs for sunbathing. There is also a poolside cafe so you can soak up some sun while having lunch.

For breakfast and lunch, enjoy Medici Cafe and Terrace, which opens to the gardens. The gardens feature a large fire pit with grand topiaries and a stone terrace. There is comfortable lounge furniture around the fire pit, so at night you can relax and enjoy the weather.

Another dining option is Firenze Lounge, right off the hotel lobby. At Firenze, light tapas like hummus with pita bread and grilled eggplant with Burrata cheese is served.
