Rio pool Details

  • Number and size of pools: Four pools, one with a sand bottom.
  • Indoors or outdoors: Outdoors.
  • Heated: Yes, both the sand-bottomed pool and the fish-shaped pool are heated.
  • Hours: Hours vary by season. Please contact hotel for specific times.
  • Towel service: Provided by the hotel.
  • Jacuzzi: Five.
  • Food/Drink service: Two full service bars and one outdoor grill. Drink service is also provided.
  • Chairs and chaises: Provided, but cannot be reserved.

For an area that's mostly concrete, the Rio's pool is stunning -- the palms are abundant, the pools picturesque -- bright aquatic murals are painted on the "rocks" and cascading waterfalls are everywhere.

The open area is ideal for sunbathers; those wishing for more privacy can follow the winding paths to a more secluded spot. And beach bums will enjoy the sandy beach.

During the summer months, guests can party at VooDoo Beach .
