  • Number and size of pools: Three pools. Palms Pool also becomes Ditch Fridays every Friday during the summer months.

  • Heated: Yes.
  • Hours: The pool is open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily. Locals are granted free admission with a valid ID Sunday through Thursday. Hours may vary due to private parties and special events. Ditch Fridays takes place every Friday during the warmer months.
  • Towel service: Yes, provided free of charge.
  • Jacuzzi: Yes.
  • Food/Drink service: There are three bars located at the pool. Drink and food service are also available.
  • Chairs and chaises: Free on a first come/first served basis.
  • Cabanas: There are 27 private cabanas and three two-story bungalows with day beds for rent. Cabanas include a built-in ice chest, sound system, 32-inch flat screen television, house phone, lighted fan, refrigerator, digital safes and designer lounge furniture. Bungalows feature two outdoor decks with a Jacuzzi, private bar, 42-inch flat screen television, DVD player, stereo and LED lighting in the bathrooms.
  • Inner tubes, rafts or other pool toys for rent: Yes, rafts are available.
  • Amenities: Poolside gaming (five blackjack tables) and massages are also available -- call for more information.

Palms Pool and Bungalows Review

After more than $30 million in renovations and a wealth of ingenuity, the three-acre pool complex at The Palms (broken down into three areas) is sure to amaze.

The first pool stretches out in front of the restaurant terrace and is ringed by six woven-metal, cylindrical cabanas with sophisticated custom interiors.

An ankle-deep wading area gives way to a second pool.To the right are three two-story bungalows--each with its own pool, double-sided fireplace, lawn and bedroom. To the left, round, canvas cabanas flank a concert stage. Ikea-style, canvas-topped teepees with Astroturf occupy a terrace above three stone cabanas, with a waterfall flowing from the second floor to shield a bar.

In the space between the first two pools, a triangular glass bar and six blackjack tables are set beneath the tiny glass-bottomed third pool, with two more waterfalls feeding the wading areas.

The menu (created by N9NE Steakhouse's Executive Chef Barry Dakake) features delectable high-end poolside fare.

During the warmer months, the pool area hosts Ditch Fridays .
