Looking for a place to relax? A place to unwind? A comfortable place to soak up the sun? Look no further than the pool at Palms Place.
Six floors above the city, the pool at Palms Place provides a welcome retreat from the glitz of the Las Vegas Strip and party atmosphere of the neighboring Palms Resort & Casino pool. That's not to say that the Palms Place pool isn't a fun place to hang out, but the feeling is much more that of a casual backyard pool party than an extravagant adult outdoor playground.
The pool enclave mixes modern decor with sleek and zen-inspired nuances such as subtle waterfalls flowing into stone gardens and square-shaped bungalows in muted colors. A cozy stone-covered fireplace and lounge area, as well as dozens of chaise lounges, provide ample seating, while brightly colored contemporary furniture decorates the bar.
The clear, glimmering water of the rectangular pool and square-shaped Jacuzzi spreads across the sun deck like an extension of the Palms Place glass tower. Palm trees, tropical flowers and landscaping surround the area, which provides a perfect view of the other two iconic Palms towers.
During the summer months, the pool at Palms Place offers Tuesday night pool parties from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. The laid back party kicks off with a happy hour at celebrity chef Kerry Simon's Simon Restaurant & Lounge from 6-8 p.m.
Simon Restaurant overlooks the pool area through floor-to-ceiling windows and even offers poolside dining. But for those who don't want to interrupt their sun bath, food from the restaurant is served right at the pool and can even be eaten at the chairs and tables that sit in the shallow end of the pool. Just remember not to go swimming too quickly after eating!
