• Number and size of pools: The Villaggio Del Sole pool complex is 110,000 square feet. There are two 5,460 square foot pools and two large Jacuzzis in the main pool area. There is also a 1, 415 square foot secluded, rectangular VIP pool and Jacuzzi. All pools and Jacuzzis are 4 feet at the deepest.
• Indoors or outdoors: Outdoors.
• Heated: Yes, the pools are kept at 85 degrees. The Jacuzzis are 100 degrees .
• Hours: Pool hours vary by season: Oct., 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., Nov. - Feb., 9 a.m. -5 p.m.; March-Sept., 8 a.m.- 7 p.m.
• Towel service: Yes. Guests are also offered cucumber ice towels.
• Jacuzzi: Yes, two in the main pool area, one in the VIP area and one in each of the six VIP cabanas.
• Food/Drink service: There are two full-service bars and a pool cafe, the Piazza Grille, with seating for 75, serving casual California-style Italian, panini's, sandwiches, salads and grilled entrees.
• Chairs and chaises: Yes, more than 400 lounge chairs in the main area and 100 lounge chairs in the VIP area.
• Cabanas: There are seven regular cabanas, six VIP cabanas and six daybeds. All cabanas and day beds come with a personal cabana host as well as food and beverage service .Regular cabanas come with chaise lounge, end tables, reserved sun deck lounges, 32-inch LCD television, iHome docking station, telephone, safe, ceiling fan, pool rafts, towels, newspaper, refrigerator (with two waters, nine assorted sodas, fresh fruit plate, cracker and cheese plate) and an amenity basket (playing cards, lotion, chips/pretzels, breath mints, pads and pen).VIP cabanas are stocked with all the above amenities, plus a personal hot tub, private shower and access to a private sun deck. Daybeds amenities include two deck tables, canopy, four waters on ice, fresh fruit plate, cracker and cheese plate, two pool rafts, towels, newspaper and an amenity basket.
• Inner tubes, rafts or other pool toys for rent: Yes, raft rentals are available for $20 a day.
• Amenities: Amenities include cucumber ice towels, Evian misters and fresh fruit. Life jackets are available upon request (free). The Pool Retail Hut sells suntan lotion, hats, sunglasses and other pool items. There is a stage for concerts.
• Handicap accessible: Yes.
