The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Pool District Review

The pool district at the Cosmopolitan consists of three distinct environments: the Boulevard Pool, the Bamboo Pool and the Marquee Dayclub Pool. Whether you're looking for an upbeat, energetic vibe or something more chill and mellow, this hotel offers an environment for every personality.

Boulevard Pool

The largest of the three pool areas, the hotel's multilevel Boulevard Pool has an unobstructed view of the Las Vegas Strip four stories above the ground. There are even chaise chairs right against the windows so hotel guests can get an even closer view while relaxing. The pool area's blue and yellow color theme with wicker accents gives it a yacht-club feel, while the frog statues add a fun touch.

Located within the Boulevard, guests can hang out in the wading pool, play ping pong and foosball or shoot some pool at The Yard. There are a total of 13 cabanas between two levels. The Boulevard offers three bars as well as a full menu at Overlook Grill.

On select nights, the Boulevard Pool hosts live concerts and can hold up to 3,000 people. The main pool converts to a platform so there's plenty of room. The neon lights from the neighboring hotels along with the pool's own light show make this the ideal outdoor concert venue.

The Boulevard pool is located on the east tower. Guests can lounge on one of the many daybeds, lounge chairs and chaises peppered throughout the area.

Bamboo Pool

Located in the hotel's west tower, the Bamboo Pool is the place to relax and unwind. Bamboo Pool offers soothing music and spa offerings like poolside chair massages and outdoor yoga classes. This season will see the addition of a morning coffee cart.

This miniature version of the Boulevard Pool features fun little nooks (perfect for private conversations), teakwood bars on either end and 10 cabanas. These cabanas each feature its own flat-screen TV, iPod dock, minibar, sectional sofas, ceiling fans and misters.

Perfect for cooling off, the pool here includes a giant rain shower head as well as tulip-shaped umbrellas providing ample shade.

Marque Dayclub Pool

The Marquee Dayclub Pool has a boutique beach club atmosphere for adults. Spanning 22,000 square feet, the Marquee Dayclub area features two pools, several bars and six blackjack tables. While the atmosphere is a lot more relaxing than a crowded nightclub, guests can enjoy the same kind of energy with performances from a live DJ.

The purple and white-colored décor along with the fuchsia and tangerine furnishings in the eight cabanas make this day club look like a the perfect area for a photo shoot. Each cabana features infinity edge glass dipping pools, flat-screen televisions and dedicated cocktail and food service.

Outside of the cabanas, visitors can also enjoy the sun on individual swing chairs, chaises and day beds. The Marquee Dayclub Pool offers a "rain curtain" water feature, the perfect background for picture-taking.

Hotel guests as well as local ladies (Monday through Thursday) receive complimentary admission.
