Although it doesn't have a casino or many of the amenities of a megaresort, Polo Towers Suites puts you near the center of the Strip with two nice pools, spa services and all the comforts of home.
Quiet, convenient, economical, all the comforts of home
We can't say enough about its location. Polo Towers Suites is set back a little from the Strip but still sits in the heart of the action behind The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and next door to the Bellagio. Quieter and less crowded than other nearby properties, it's within walking distance of everything you'll want to do in Vegas.
The rooms at Polo Towers Suites have something you don't often see on the Strip -- balconies. While there's no patio furniture on them, you can still stand outside and stare at the glittering lights of the Strip in total awe.
Speaking of views, one of Polo Towers Suites' two pools is on the rooftop (that's the 22nd floor). You'll find plenty of lounge chairs and a hot tub as well as a barbecue grill. Best of all: There are cabanas for people who like shade -- and they're free.
Although the studio rooms are the most inexpensive, they're small and the beds aren't really beds...they're Murphy beds (meaning they pull down from a cabinet in the wall). For those of you who've never slept on a Murphy bed, they are notorious for being uncomfortable.
Opt for the one-bedroom condo for more comfort and all the luxuries of home (the kitchens are fully stocked). It's still affordably priced, especially during mid-week, and comes with a bedroom and a pull-out sofa -- both of which are leagues better than a Murphy bed.
In addition to not having a casino, entertainment or attractions, Polo Towers Suites doesn't have any restaurants or bars. However, this usually isn't a problem because all of these things are only a short stroll away.
Be aware that Polo Towers Suites is a timeshare property. You're may be hit up to attend a presentation either during check-in or while coming and going from the property. Unless you happen to be in the market for a timeshare, just say no. And say it firmly. Trust us, you don't want to spent two hours sitting through this high-pressure sales spiel.
Need food so you can make your own meals in your kitchen? There's a small convenience store on the ground floor that has groceries along with alcohol, snacks and freshly brewed Starbucks coffee.
For those of you who are in the middle of a long trip or making an extended stay, complimentary washers and dryers are located on several floors of Polo Towers Suites.
As mentioned above, the hotel is set back from the Strip, so the front entrance is off what looks like a backstreet alley. You'll have to trek that way, so be careful and keep an eye out for vehicles.
If you have a car with you, self-parking is available to guests in an underground garage and in the surface lot. Valet parking is also offered.
