Guests of Palace Station will enjoy an extensive array of amenities during their stay as well as a prime location just west of the Las Vegas Strip. This laid-back resort is also conveniently situated next to the I-15. 

Built in 1976 on 38 acres and originally opened as "The Casino," it became Palace Station, the flagship property for the Station Casinos empire, in 1991. Although the resort has undergone various renovations, including the addition of a 21-story room tower, it's kept a down-to-earth vibe, making it ideal for travelers on a budget who are seeking a good hotel value.

The rooms and suites at Palace Station are outfitted for comfort, with things like cable TVs, hair dryers and wireless internet access. An outdoor pool with a hot tub, a fully equipped fitness center, a business center, a gift shop and a courtesy airport/Strip shuttle will also enhance your vacation experience.

From classic to ethnic, guests can indulge their taste buds with a wide range of restaurants. The Broiler is a traditional American steak and seafood grill. Cabo Mexican Restaurant has a fun salsa bar and serves a menu of authentic flavors from south of the border. Pasta Cucina's talented staff cook innovative Italian delights that will please every palate. And the Oyster Bar is an 18-seat, live-action kitchen preparing freshly shucked oysters, steamed clams and homemade seafood pastas.

For quick meals, Palace Station boasts the cheerful Grand Café, the all-you-can-eat Feast Buffet, the Food Express Chinese Restaurant, four fast food eateries (Subway, Johnny Rockets, Bonanno's New York Pizzeria and Starbucks) and 24-hour room service.

Looking for entertainment? Everyone will be in stitches during comedian Louie Anderson's show. He headlines his namesake theater and when he isn't performing, other all-star comedians and musicians take the stage.

In addition, lively evenings can be spent in Jack's, a pub and sports bar. Local bands also play here several nights a week. The Traxx Bar and Trackside Bar are two more fine spots for cocktails -- including the beloved 99-cent margarita.

The casino floor is always busy at Palace Station. You'll find plenty of action in the bingo hall, keno lounge or race and sports book, which boasts 230 seats and 44 large video screens. There's a nonsmoking poker room along with numerous table games and more than 1,600 slot and video poker machines. The resort is unique in that it has an Asian table games area, where guests can try their luck at pai gow tiles and both mini and midi baccarat.

Ideal for meetings and special celebrations, Palace Station also features more than 20,000 square feet of event space. It's equipped with state-of-the-art amenities including projectors, DVD players and other technological devices. Catering and other services are available as well.

Palace Station is within walking distance of several other restaurants and a short drive from downtown and the Strip -- putting guests near the epicenter of all the big happenings in Las Vegas.
