Rated 5 out of 5 by great stay Me AND My Best Friend Stayed Six DAYS AND Hated To Leave The Staff Was So Helpful AND Friendly To A Couple Of newbies. The location was awesome the amenities were great will definitely be back in 2016...... August 20, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Very inconvenient for travelling people who are just looking for a place to stay Hotel rooms were a little small, no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms. Also, our rooms were at the very end of the hallway. After getting off the elevator on our floor, we had to walk over three minutes (not exaggerating) to get to our rooms. This hotel was HUGE and instead of having multiple elevators closer to each end of the hotel, they have only one set of elevators in the middle, forcing all the guests to use the same area, which causes quite a bottleneck. To make it even more inconvenient, you are required to walk through either the casino or arcade to get to the elevator, which can be very annoying when you don't want any distractions. We checked for stairs to take near our room (since it was at the very end of a hallway, as far from the elevator as possible), but the stairs were "for emergency use only" and automatically lock behind you. Also, the restaurants aren't very friendly for people who have allergies to gluten. A few of the restaurants have one or two options, but those restaurants generally had limited hours. We spent a lot of time eating in the night and most of the restaurants were closed. We stopped at America around midnight to eat, and I ordered a sandwich on a gluten free bun. It arrived on a normal bun with breaded fries. I asked the server if the meal was gluten free and he said yes. I took a bite and discovered right away that it was not gluten free. When he returned I questioned him again, so he brought it back to the kitchen who confirmed it was not gluten free. They made me a new sandwich with a gluten free bun, and then proceeded to give me the fries with gluten again. Not a very good situation to be in with allergies. Their servers should have to be required to have more knowledge of allergies before they can serve people. Lastly, we received a promotion for a few free buffet tickets. We had two rooms each with two free buffets. When we went to the buffets, they said they had to charge it to our room and that the charge would be credited when we checked out. Well that worked for one of our rooms, but for the other hotel room they told us that it didn't qualify for the buffet. I had to argue with the receptionist that I had received the 4 buffet vouchers when I checked in and was told they would work, and then at the buffet they confirmed it would work if we had them charged to our room, so finally after a lengthy conversation, she gave in and gave me a partial credit for the buffets on my second room. Overall, I felt that the hotel was specifically designed and run to care about money/profits first, and customer satisfaction last. It's a disappointing business model, but the place was busy enough that it appears to be a successful business model for them. I guess some people like that atmosphere, but I personally do not plan to return. August 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This place was great This hotel was awesome and had plenty of food, gambling, and shopping options to choose from right there in the hotel! The only thing that it didn't have was an in-room mini-fridge (not a big deal). Check-in and check-out was very fast and easy. There is also free parking! August 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Absolutely incredible!!! The most amazing 30th Birthday ever August 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stay. Good beds (queen). Terrible pool! Nice hotel other than the pool. Wish our room had a better view. August 15, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great, Clean, Stay! What a great rate on a hotel stay! NYNY was clean, the air in the casino was extremely fresh for being a smoking environment, the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable. The hotel also has a salon and spa on the third floor (albeit a tad pricey, you don't have to leave the hotel to get your hair or makeup done-and they do a great job). The location is very centralized and I would DEFINITELY stay again! August 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by NYNY Las Vegas! MY husband and I visited Las Vegas for my birthday last month and we stayed at NYNY Las Vegas. I can't say enough about my stay and the entire Vegas experience. We got to Vegas early that morning and when we checked in(8:30AM), the desk clerk told me that she saw that we had early check-in but the room wasn't ready. But that was fine-early check-in was at 10A....she then gave us a 2 for 1 breakfast voucher for the french cafe there in the hotel-breakfast was wonderful! Took our bags to baggage check-in-those folks were so pleasant. Gave us the information to call the hotel to check to see if the room was ready. My husband & I took a stroll on the strip and, after 1 1/2 hours, the room was ready. Our Park Avenue strip view was awesome-the room was beyond clean and we had a great view of the four corners(MGM, Excalibur, Tropicana and the airport)!. The beds at NYNY were awesome-felt like I was being cradled! The hotel roller coaster was never a issue-you could barely hear the coaster or the riders. Housekeeping was great-never had a problem during the four day stay. Was not a fan of the Wi-Fi(too slow or could not use), but that did not take away from my enjoyable experience. Thank you so much for making my stay the best and I am looking forward to next summer! I will definitely recommend this resort!!! August 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Loved this hotel!! Ny-Ny is an older hotel but still amazing! We had a wonderful king-sized bed and hot tub right in our room. Every member of the staff was helpful and kind. Went to concierge several times for assistance, each time they were very knowledgeable and helpful! Had the hot rocks massage, Omgosh do NOT miss that amenity! To me this hotel wasn't designed for children but there were quite a few stroller kids. If you have children, maybe try Circus Circus! The bar at Town Square was so much fun! Loved the dueling pianos and bartender was amazing as well! Had an emergency and it was handled very quickly and with compassion. Will stay at this hotel again. August 10, 2014
