Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 1099 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Mirage is centrally located The Mirage is a great hotel it has great access to nearby hotels and is extremely clean and friendly. The rooms were awesome looks like it was newly decorated and the cleaning staff does a great job to keep the room clean and in great shape. We never used the pool but did get massages and they were awesome if you do the spa you can spend all day there if you want. I would definitely stay there again. Only down side is there is no fridge to store stuff but other than water not sure what we would have used it for. August 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great room and service at buffet Very noisy vacationers in the hall ways.We were awakened twice during the night. I had son & daughter-in-law with me. August 4, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Seeing the Beatles almost everywhrere was the hi-light! TV was not working, it took a couple of days for them to fix it, but we were in no hurry-just saying -No shower caps, had to ask maybe little things, but they add up, don't they? While we were playing, the waitress asked if we wanted a drink after we paid full price at the bar in the casino. The Valet was good! July 26, 2014

Answer:
Yes. I've contacted The Mirage and each room comes with a personal safe. A "softer" bed can't be requested, but Sealy Posturepedic pillow-top beds are also standard in the rooms. Plus, there are two types of handicap accessible rooms available at The Mirage: the "Standard Accessible" and "Fully Accessible" (with roll-in shower and "Handi-Move" electronic lift equipment for those in wheelchairs). Note: Accessible rooms are not available for online booking. Call 800-374-9000 to confirm availability.

I'm not sure what kind of soft bed you're looking for but the bed I slept in was much softer than your average bed. My husband and I thought the soft bed was great. Our friends also had a very soft mattress.

Yes, there is a safe in the closet. It was large enough to hold a small laptop computer.

I'm very picky about beds and without any special requests, ours was wonderful. Firm underneath but a very plush pillowtop mattress with down comforter. You should be very comfortable.

Answer:
The Mirage is near the south end of the Strip, and the Stratosphere is at the north end. It would take you at least 45 minutes to walk between the two. It's also about that far the Adventuredome at Circus Circus (Las Vegas' only real "amusement park"). If you're visiting in the summer, we wouldn't recommend attempting that trek. New York New York is a little closer (It's south of the Mirage), and it has a great roller coaster. But even for that trip, we'd recommend you take a cab or the Monorail. There's a Monorail stop across Las Vegas Boulevard from Mirage, at Harrah's, and you can ride the tram north to the Sahara station (which is super close to the Stratosphere) or south to the MGM Grand station (which is across the street from New York New York). If you do choose to walk, be sure to bring LOTS of water. Las Vegas really is in a desert!

Answer:
By thrill rides, I would assume roller coasters. New York New York has one. About 30 mins walk from Mirage. This includes traffic lights and two pedestrian bridges.

The other one is at Stratosphere. That one is far away. You would need the monorail. Go across the street from Mirage is Harrah's. there's a monorail station that will take you to Stratosphere. $5 one way or $12 unlimited ride for 24 hours. Look for coupon for $2 off.

Right now behind the new hotel The Linq - they're building the replica of eye of London. Can't wait to ride on it. Don't have to go all the way to London! It's a gigantic Ferris wheel

Answer:
This hotel is about a 45 minute walk to New York, New York where there is a roller coaster. It is about 2 miles from Stratosphere, so I recommend taking the Deuce bus. There is a stop right outside of Mirage and it runs about every 20 minutes. $6 gets you a ticket, but $8 gets you a bus pass for 24 hours. The Deuce runs up and down the strip and makes TONS of stops, which is convenient when you're heading from one end of the strip to the other or to Fremont Street. Be cautious, though. Check out the traffic. We have experienced that on the weekends after about 8pm, the traffic through the heart of the strip is SO slow, that walking is faster. Deuce is way better during the day.

Answer:
You can take the bus (the Deuce or SDX) from the Mirage to the Stratosphere. It is just over 2 miles (with lots of busy intersections to cross). Taxis are also available, but cost quite a bit. If you are going to be in Vegas for a few days, buy the bus pass and figure out the route.

Answer:
It's a looong walk from the Mirage to the Stratosphere. For $8, you can get a 24 hour pass on the Deuce. It is a bus that goes up & down the Strip, 24/7, & will drop you off right in front of the Stratosphere. Don't take a taxi, too expensive.

Answer:
Resort fees are the fees that the hotel impose on you the customer: This fee is a mandatory fee that includes the use of the gym and other small unnecessary things that you will probably not use while there. Its a standard 25 dollars a night fee and includes taxes on top of the fee. I stayed at the hotel for 5 days, the fee is 25 bucks times 5 days plus the taxes came out to $140.00....This fee is not included in your total listed price so just be prepared to add $25 a day for how many days your staying plus tax on top of the fee.
