Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 1086 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by The room was great with a view of the strip Our stay was short but very nice. The hotel is located near several others and it was easy to get around. The Staff was polite and helpful. Hotel was beautiful, the pool was beautiful but it was too hot to sit by it during our stay. July 16, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Wasn't impressed Bathrooms are really SMALL! The room was just ok. I wouldn't stay here again. Wasn't impressed. July 16, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by not too happy i have gone to vegas quite a few times but this is the worst trip not enough comp. room tiny and dirty room service was bad and expensive... had to wait over an hour to get dinner and it wasn't good quality. overall very disappointed. July 15, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by rooms are disappointing the room was not very clean and dusty. they also gave us not the 50 dollar bonus when we checked oout. we all (from 3 rooms) had them to remind about the bonus... July 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by We love staying here, its the best!!!!! Everything that you need or want in Vegas is here. We have stayed twice and tell all of our friends and family its the only place to stay in Vegas. July 8, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by shocked Being told that you have a $50 food and beverage credit and then finding out that it's not a credit, but an additional fee is not a welcome surprise. July 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Property; Recommend Staying at The Mirage I have stayed at several hotels in Vegas and this is the first time at the Mirage. Overall, I liked it. The Mirage is clean and well-maintained, inexpensive, on the strip, and is close to the tram (across the street at Harrah's). It's a nice building with a cool "fire show" in front of it. The elevator banks were excellent. Each elevator bank had six (or eight) elevators. And, the elevators within each bank were assigned to stop at certain floors. For example, the elevators I used only stopped on floors 9 - 16. So, it would pass by 1 - 8 and service only 9 - 16. And, with a building with 30 floors - this is a welcomed feature! My room was fantastic. It was large, had a comfortable bed, and appeared to be recently updated. The pillows could be replaced, but that's only bec I don't like fluffy pillows. The bathroom is small compared to the size of the room and the shower isn't the greatest. The water pressure was OK as was the water temperature - but for a tall guy - I had to bend down to get under the water. Also, the shower head leaked and a lot of water was dripping/pouring from the back. The A/C was excellent and kept the room nice and cool. TV was a nice flat screen with lots of channels. I only had one issue with the room (they gave it to another guest after I had already checked in) but the hotel quickly resolved it (plus, they waived my resort fees for the inconvenience). I asked for a quiet room on a higher floor, which they accommodated. 11th floor with a pool view. Now - by "pool view" they really meant "If you look to your right out of your window, and squint - you'll see bits of the pool water behind those trees." But hey - it was quiet. The restaurants were nice and the food was good. They also have a Starbucks on property (yay!) but get in line early in the morning - everyone appears to have the same idea! There is another coffee shop near the pool. I didn't have their coffee but their carrot cupcakes - to die for! The casino was great. Didn't play much there (as we went over to the Quad for $5 Blackjack). Lots of games to play! Nothing for kids from what I could tell (like New York New York). The pool was nice; not overly crowded. There are lots of seats but they're all close together. Felt like everyone was on top of each other. The water was cooler in the shaded places and warm in the sunny places. Not too many kids, but some. It was also nice to have a drink by the pool, albeit pricey drinks. I recommend lots of sunscreen! Checkout process was a breeze. I called from my room and checked out. I would stay there again but most likely won't. Not bec it wasn't nice, but I like variety and will try another hotel the next time I'm in Vegas. July 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good experience I only stayed one night at the Mirage. But overall it was a good experience. My only complaint was that the Wi-Fi was incredibly slow. July 6, 2014

Answer:
When we were there (July 2013), it was $25/day, per room. If you pay cash, they take an additional $100 security deposit which they return at checkout. From our experience, seems pretty standard for casinos in the MGM resort group to charge $25 a day, some are a bit less.

Answer:
Resort fees are the fees that the hotel impose on you the customer: This fee is a mandatory fee that includes the use of the gym and other small unnecessary things that you will probably not use while there. Its a standard 25 dollars a night fee and includes taxes on top of the fee. I stayed at the hotel for 5 days, the fee is 25 bucks times 5 days plus the taxes came out to $140.00....This fee is not included in your total listed price so just be prepared to add $25 a day for how many days your staying plus tax on top of the fee.

Answer:
Yes. I've contacted The Mirage and each room comes with a personal safe. A "softer" bed can't be requested, but Sealy Posturepedic pillow-top beds are also standard in the rooms. Plus, there are two types of handicap accessible rooms available at The Mirage: the "Standard Accessible" and "Fully Accessible" (with roll-in shower and "Handi-Move" electronic lift equipment for those in wheelchairs). Note: Accessible rooms are not available for online booking. Call 800-374-9000 to confirm availability.

Answer:
There is a safe but a relatively small one -- very flat in the wall. Challenging if you have a large item such as purse, computer, etc.

Answer:
There was a personal safe in our room with digital code entry that you choose and code in when you arrive.
I'm not sure what kind of soft bed you're looking for but the bed I slept in was much softer than your average bed. My husband and I thought the soft bed was great. Our friends also had a very soft mattress.

Answer:
Yes, there is a safe in the closet. It was large enough to hold a small laptop computer.

I'm very picky about beds and without any special requests, ours was wonderful. Firm underneath but a very plush pillowtop mattress with down comforter. You should be very comfortable.

No, there will be one in the room. I've contacted the front desk at The Mirage and been told that all of the rooms are equipped with an iron and ironing board.
