Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 1528 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Had a lovely time. Great room with a view of the strip. Great location I stayed two nights with my kids, 11 and 9. The property is beautiful, just gorgeous. We loved the wave pool and the lazy river. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious. Good view and pretty quiet. I didn't gamble but the casino looked nice and upscale. We dined at the House of Blues and listened to live music starting at 8 p.m. Very nice. Hotel staff was great, quick to respond, brought up luggage quickly, valet was quick. I didn't give the highest rating for a couple of reasons. First, the lazy river is fun and fast, but at a couple of locations, there are drain covers that protrude out of the bottom. These can't be readily seen or avoided and I stubbed (almost broke) my toes several times. this really should be corrected. Second, although I understand that the hotel wants to get people out of the rooms and into the shops and casinos, the room doesn't come with a coffee/hot water maker. I asked about one and they said I could get one but they charge $25 for it. A small amenity like that would have made it so much better for me, especially traveling with children, whom I didn't want to leave alone in the room while I went in search of coffee. April 20, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by great customer service made us feel very welcomed. Fast and easy to use felt very satisfied with Vegas.com April 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by We had fun in general You don't have fan in your bathrooms and this is very unsenatry .pleases make sure somehow the windows can be open or instal fan in the roms the ear quality is bad in the your hotel. Sincerely thanks April 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful Accomodations After changing locations to Mandalay Bay we could not have been more happy. The hotel was beautiful, the rooms large and loaded with amenities. All staff members were friendly and always helpful. We enjoyed playing in the casino. Our time limit did not allow for relaxing by the pool but i would consider adding that extra day to the next visit to included a day at the pool. My friend and I also liked the convenience of the tram for visiting between hotels. Great stay at Mandlay Bay! April 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by It was gorgeous and it was truly a wonderful experience. I would everyone to experience it at least once. We really enjoyed our stay. I am ready to visit again. I really didn't want to leave. April 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hotel and location Would definitely stay at the Mandalay Bay again. The pool area was definitely a plus. Highly recommend! April 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great resort Resort is absolutely beautiful and has competent, friendly staff. No issues during our stay. Our room (king bed) was spacious with plenty of closet/storage space. Registration desk very accomodating and processed everything quickly. Would definitely stay there again in the future. April 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful hotel Foundation room was a club at Mandalay Bay and it sold me to come again. The pool was fantastic. Poor bell service on a Monday ! But over all had a great experience . April 1, 2014

I understand there is a $25 resort fee per night. Are there any other fees that we should know about (snacks in room, minibar etc)?

Answer:
At Mandalay Bay, the only fees added on are the resort fee (which includes free internet access, use of the Cardio Center, unlimited local and 800 calls, printing your boarding pass, outgoing faxes and a daily newspaper) and the room tax (which is 12%). The rooms do come with a fully stocked minibar -- and there is a charge if you consume any of the wines, beers, juices, sodas and snacks it offers.

Answer:
There is a $25 per night resort fee & the mini bar & snack tray is based on a time sensor so everything you pull out is automatically charged to your room. Also for the pool area there are tubes but you have to buy them not rent them.

Answer:
Yes, the night fee is $25 plus $3 taxes = $28.00 per night. About snacks and drinks in the refrigerator, if you don't plan to eat or drink them, don't even touch them because they have some kind of sensor and it is going to show in their computer and by the time you checkout, they will ask you if you had them. Don't put any personal drink of food in the refrigerator neither, because it is also going to show and they charge $50.00 just for it....something like "you rented the refrigerator". It is OK if that is their policy, but their problem is that they never tell people when they check in, neither there is a sign in the room warning them.

The fee is $28/night. They charge for the in room snacks and they are high. Also if you pick up something from the snacks/minibar and you hold more than 30 seconds you are charged for the "purchase". I was just there this week and paid an extra $90 for their facilities fees. Though the rooms were great, I would not stay agin because of those fees.

Answer:
The mini bar has a weight system that is installed. If any of the products are bumped or removed, it will automatically charge your room for that product. I accidentally bumped some of the alcohol provided with one of my bags, and they charged my room. However, they are usually pretty good about removing the fees if you did not actually use the product.

Answer:
Yes, Mandalay Beach and the other outdoor pools at Mandalay Bay are open seasonally. They are closed right now. These areas are likely to reopen in mid to late March (weather permitting). The Bathouse spa located in THEhotel, adjacent to Mandalay Bay, has an indoor pool and hydrotherapy area. You can enjoy those by getting a spa facility pass for $25.
