Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 1593 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by My room was missing an ironing board. My room was missing an ironing board. Since I needed to iron a couple of slacks for my husband, I had to use the desk table with a towel on top. Very inconvenient. July 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by good experience... impresive family trip and vacation. I will visit next year thanks. July 20, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by lots of exta charges Many extra charges. Too many kids everywhere at this resort. July 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great time at the Hotel and the Casino What a nice place for a good and short vacations, We had a good time. July 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fun pool, clean and nice room and convenient tram. Had a great time at Mandalay Bay-great pool and we had a comfortable clean room too! July 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by There is something for everyone. If you are looking for a high-end resort that has just about everything, then this is the place. Pool area, spa and fitness areas are well-maintained. Food & beverages are pricey, but it's a short walk over to the adjoining hotels where costs are lower if you are looking for something simple. Rooms are up-to-date and well-kept. My only problem was with the virtual check-out on the TV monitor. The computer system didn't allow me to check out, possibly because the server was overworked with all the other people who were checking out at the same time. I used the drop-box checkout at the elevator entrance and received my receipt via email. July 19, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel is overpriced for what you get. I must admit, this was not a good time for Mandalay Bay as they were doing construction inside both locations. But, I still found the pricing of common items throughout the properties to be way overpriced. Street price for a bottle of water, $3.00, in room, $8.00. (I would expect $5-$6). I was getting headaches from the smell from the casino area from the dirty, smelly air, (smelt of old cigarette, pipe, smoke), while all the other casinos we visited did not smell like this. They all had a clean, pleasant smell, and seemed to be much busier as well. The Buffet that is included in some travel packages is overpriced at pay as you go compared to other places we have been to in other cities. The food is average, (very institutional), and fine if what you're looking for is quantity, and not quality. The hotel staff , though, were very friendly and very helpful. July 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The hotel is great. We went to the Mandalay Bay for the pools, and we had a great time. Lots of fun using them. The rooms were a little thin and you can hear the hallways, plus it's right next to the airport so you have that noise, but it was great. The casino was clean and smelled great. Definitely hope to find a good deal so we can go back July 15, 2014

I understand there is a $25 resort fee per night. Are there any other fees that we should know about (snacks in room, minibar etc)?

Answer:
At Mandalay Bay, the only fees added on are the resort fee (which includes free internet access, use of the Cardio Center, unlimited local and 800 calls, printing your boarding pass, outgoing faxes and a daily newspaper) and the room tax (which is 12%). The rooms do come with a fully stocked minibar -- and there is a charge if you consume any of the wines, beers, juices, sodas and snacks it offers.

There is a $25 per night resort fee & the mini bar & snack tray is based on a time sensor so everything you pull out is automatically charged to your room. Also for the pool area there are tubes but you have to buy them not rent them.

Answer:
Yes, the night fee is $25 plus $3 taxes = $28.00 per night. About snacks and drinks in the refrigerator, if you don't plan to eat or drink them, don't even touch them because they have some kind of sensor and it is going to show in their computer and by the time you checkout, they will ask you if you had them. Don't put any personal drink of food in the refrigerator neither, because it is also going to show and they charge $50.00 just for it....something like "you rented the refrigerator". It is OK if that is their policy, but their problem is that they never tell people when they check in, neither there is a sign in the room warning them.

The fee is $28/night. They charge for the in room snacks and they are high. Also if you pick up something from the snacks/minibar and you hold more than 30 seconds you are charged for the "purchase". I was just there this week and paid an extra $90 for their facilities fees. Though the rooms were great, I would not stay agin because of those fees.

Answer:
The mini bar has a weight system that is installed. If any of the products are bumped or removed, it will automatically charge your room for that product. I accidentally bumped some of the alcohol provided with one of my bags, and they charged my room. However, they are usually pretty good about removing the fees if you did not actually use the product.

Yes, Mandalay Beach and the other outdoor pools at Mandalay Bay are open seasonally. They are closed right now. These areas are likely to reopen in mid to late March (weather permitting). The Bathouse spa located in THEhotel, adjacent to Mandalay Bay, has an indoor pool and hydrotherapy area. You can enjoy those by getting a spa facility pass for $25.
