Beautifully designed rooms Loved the location and decor of my room. The restaurants serve amazing food. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends. January 13, 2013
great place to stay.. We had a great time. Everything that you need is there. Cabs are always there for you. Plus the monorail is easy access to 2 other hotels. January 11, 2013
The room was not as clean as a 5 star hotel should be. Otherwise Excellent The hotel and room was excellent in location and staff. I recommend eating at the Bayside Buffet. The "All Request Band" was excellent and entertaining. The express bus to Fremont Street was conventient and easy to catch. Great stay! January 11, 2013
Hidden fees-do not recommend When we got there they charge us $112 for club fee, which we didn't know, we thought we already paid for the hotel and flight and shuttle (which we never found). The internet in the public areas was charge even if you were a guest at the hotel. The concierage was horrible at customer service. Last time we came we went to LUXOR and was much better. Mandalay impressed us from the outside that's why we chose it but the rooms look old. January 10, 2013
THE Hotel was nice, but housekeeping bad Overall, we enjoyed our Mandalay Bay stay, and the new rooms at THE Hotel are really nice. Although it is even further south down the strip from everything else, it's not too far from the action. Housekeeping, on the other hand, was atrocious. We found someone's left over t-shirt in the closet, lint/dirt on the carpet, a drinking glass outside our room when we arrived, and shampoo in a conditioner bottle (do they really refill these bottles and redistribute them? ICK!). We didn't expect the poor housekeeping, but everything else was great. Really liked the Raffles Cafe, but didn't try their Buffett (went to another hotel). January 9, 2013
Hotel was nice. Hotel and Casino very nice place. Room, was clean but the rules on the Suite, a $50 restocking charge for the bar?? Really ! I don't mind paying the inflated pricing for the stocked bar but to pay $50 just to restock a bag of chips is STUPID. Plus had to call for a refridige. in a suite. The Ramada Inn in Barstow had a fridge and microwave. January 9, 2013
Beautiful Facility! Mandalay Bay is a beautiful facility outside and has a great looking beach, pool setting, couldn't use because most of it closed due to weather! Most restaurants on site a priced on the higher side! Found two great places in the shoppes, Hussong's and Ri Ra Irish Pub! Prices are reasonable and so are drink prices! Food is outstanding at both locations and service is fantastic! January 8, 2013
Our party of 13 had a wonderful time. Our 3 day stay was much fun & our family had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the hotel accomodations & had enjoyable times @ several places including great meals & a spectacular show (LOVE). January 8, 2013

I understand there is a $25 resort fee per night. Are there any other fees that we should know about (snacks in room, minibar etc)?

Answer:
At Mandalay Bay, the only fees added on are the resort fee (which includes free internet access, use of the Cardio Center, unlimited local and 800 calls, printing your boarding pass, outgoing faxes and a daily newspaper) and the room tax (which is 12%). The rooms do come with a fully stocked minibar -- and there is a charge if you consume any of the wines, beers, juices, sodas and snacks it offers.

Answer:
Yes, the night fee is $25 plus $3 taxes = $28.00 per night. About snacks and drinks in the refrigerator, if you don't plan to eat or drink them, don't even touch them because they have some kind of sensor and it is going to show in their computer and by the time you checkout, they will ask you if you had them. Don't put any personal drink of food in the refrigerator neither, because it is also going to show and they charge $50.00 just for it....something like "you rented the refrigerator". It is OK if that is their policy, but their problem is that they never tell people when they check in, neither there is a sign in the room warning them.

Answer:
The fee is $28/night. They charge for the in room snacks and they are high. Also if you pick up something from the snacks/minibar and you hold more than 30 seconds you are charged for the "purchase". I was just there this week and paid an extra $90 for their facilities fees. Though the rooms were great, I would not stay agin because of those fees.

Answer:
The mini bar has a weight system that is installed. If any of the products are bumped or removed, it will automatically charge your room for that product. I accidentally bumped some of the alcohol provided with one of my bags, and they charged my room. However, they are usually pretty good about removing the fees if you did not actually use the product.

There is a $25 per night resort fee & the mini bar & snack tray is based on a time sensor so everything you pull out is automatically charged to your room. Also for the pool area there are tubes but you have to buy them not rent them.

Answer:
Yes, Mandalay Beach and the other outdoor pools at Mandalay Bay are open seasonally. They are closed right now. These areas are likely to reopen in mid to late March (weather permitting). The Bathouse spa located in THEhotel, adjacent to Mandalay Bay, has an indoor pool and hydrotherapy area. You can enjoy those by getting a spa facility pass for $25.
