Rated 2 out of 5 by Going Downhill Fast I've been staying at the HRH Suites at the Hard Rock steadily since they opened them. I liked the off-strip location, and the big bathtubs. But in the past year or two, things have steadily declined. Maybe it's a financial issue, or maybe it's just the the technology failing, but either way service is much worse. For example, room service now takes much longer. It used to be about 20 - 30 minutes, it's now usually over an hour. And if you request something for a certain time, that isn't going to happen. Their in-room entertainment technology has also been hit and miss, but lately it's just miss. The sound system never seems to work right, and the movie system is usually down. We won't get into their remotes not working, as that seems to be an industry trait. But I will say their TV's are especially beaten over the past years. Everything is very dark on the screen. The food at the Hard Rock has also somehow taken a hit. I've noticed this at several locations in Vegas, and it might be an industry tightening it's belt, but the food overall is definitely lower quality. The service itself is a bit less excited or quick as they used to be. People move slowly and rarely smile. They don't seem to be there. Morale seems low. One last issue with the rooms is the lack of cleaning. It seems like I'm always finding junk from the last tenant. The place looks to be half-cleaned. It's a shame because I really liked the HRH Suites, and the prices are pretty good. But if you're looking for someplace with excellent service, newer amenities, working technology and overall more the Vegas experience, your choices are The Cosmopolitan, or if on a tighter budget, Mandalay Bay. Their still good bets, but I highly recommend the Cosmo, especially if you can get a room with a balcony. Great view of the strip and water show at the Bellagio. October 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Stay!!! My daughter (21), and I stayed only one night because we had booked another hotel for other days and I wish we would've stayed more. Stayed in the towers and the room was beautiful! The pool area was nice and clean and restaurants had good food. Everyone at the hotel was wonderful, from the people at guest services to the shuttle driver and security, they were all great! The memorabilia was awesome, especially The Rev's drum kit from A7X (big fan). This was my first trip to Vegas and won't be last, thanks in part to the Hard Rock. August 16, 2013
