I would stay here again! We loved the Golden Nugget. The hotel was clean and updated. The room was large and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. The majority of the casino staff was fun and helpful. All food was good, but especially enjoyed the Grotto. Will definitely stay here again! June 17, 2013
Would stay here again! My husband and I travel to Vegas a couple times a year and try to stay at different places everytime. I would stay at the Golden Nugget again in a heart beat. Everything about the hotel is great! June 15, 2013
this product has great features I really enjoyed my stay. The room was excellent and there were no problems June 11, 2013
Great place to stay to remind yourself of the past and be in it. Great location for Vegas, do not destroy. The rooms were pretty good, the only problem I had was the sink and bath tub. The drainage was very, very slow. But I would stay again because things like that can be fixed. June 11, 2013
parking is horrible need to improve valet very rude workers Costumer service needs to improve.they need to put there guest fist . Parking is horrible..valet workers very rude. DID NOT ENJOY MY STAY had to park two blocks away late at nite and had pick up my car two blocks away in the morning not something I want to be doing on my vacation June 11, 2013
The Rush tower was very nice. The Rush tower was a very pleasant surprise. The location of being on Fremont street was very convienient. Dinner at Vic and Anthonys was excellent. June 6, 2013
Good value for Fremont Experience The quality of the room was fine for the price. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious and nicely decorated. Our only complaint is that that there was a $7.00 charge for a bottle of water in the room and a $10.00 charge for coffee. June 3, 2013
The website in general is good. The reviews of the hotels should be more thorough. The hotel is rich in history but falls a little short on everything else. The employees at the "check-in" seemed less than happy to see you. Almost like they didn't really want to be there. The breakfast at the cafe was cold (I prefer my scrambled eggs & hash browns warm). Our dinner at The Grotto was very good and our waiter very personable. The lamp between the beds did not work and the sink in the bathroom was very high. Not what I expected for a handicap room. The lady who tidy up our room was great. Everything was clean when we returned at the end of the day and always had extra towels when asked. Access to the where you got the taxi (Carson Tower) was not accessible at all. I had to go back up the ramp to the H2O/Shark Tank/pool turn left and then go thru a special door that goes down the service hall to a service door that opens outside. Really! There should be a ramp that has direct access to the same door that everyone else uses. It's a simple thing that makes a world of difference in whether a person comes back to a hotel. June 3, 2013

Answer:
Yes, the Golden Nugget does have smoking rooms. If you're ready to book, your best bet is speak to one of our customer service representatives -- just call toll-free in the U.S. at (866) 998-3427. They can make the arrangements for you, and that way you'll be assured of receiving a smoking room.

Answer:
The Golden Nugget has two pools. The Tank (with the shark tank and a three-story water slide) and The Hideout (a private pool for guests ages 16 or older). Currently, the hours at The Tank are 10 a.m.-8 p.m. daily, while The Hideout is open until 2 a.m. every night. The Jacuzzi at the Golden Nugget also has late hours -- i.e., open daily from 10 a.m.-2 a.m.

No. You can take public transportation but you must transfer buses once and I wouldn't recommend it. Take a cab from the airport and tell him to take the fast way. He'll know.

Answer:
I took the bus (#108) from the Nugget to the airport; I believe we were dropped off at Terminal-1 and then took the shuttle to Terminal-3 (Frontier Airlines).

We caught the bus in front of the Nugget and transferred one stop later. That's where we caught the 108 line. It had a lot of stops, but we had planned for the extra time and just enjoyed the different parts of the city and the ride. I think the whole ride from hotel to airport was less than 45 minutes. Consider the time versus the $70 cab fare.

Another alternative would be to take the Express to the Strip, and then get a cab to the airport from one of the hotels. That would keep the cost down and make the trip a bit shorter.

It does not run from the airport to the hotels, but you can catch a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. If staying downtown, be prepared to pay a little extra (not a whole lot extra) for the shuttle.

Answer:
Yes, both my husband and I required motorized scooters to get around. They have better rates for the longer you are staying and require one, or they have manual wheelchairs at no cost. The bell captain desk can arrange it for you. They will even hold the chair if you leave to shop, sightsee, etc. Getting these made getting around the hotel and out on Fremont Street much easier. The elevates will accommodate 2 scooters at a time. Enjoy.
