The Four Queens Hotel & Casino in downtown is a historic property imbued with class and old Vegas glamour.

Situated at the intersection of Casino Center Boulevard and Fremont Street, the hotel is part of the revitalization occurring in this iconic area of the city. It's connected to Fremont Street Experience, and its main entrance is positioned underneath the stunning multimillion-light Viva Vision canopy. Plus, there's nearby access to The Deuce and the Strip & Downtown Express bus systems as well as to an assortment of hotels, shops, restaurants and attractions -- like Flightlinez, which boasts four thrilling ziplines with a landing platform right outside the front doors.

Sharing the excitement of the rapidly transforming gaming and hospitality industries, the Four Queens blends technology and a pinch of cosmopolitan chic with vintage cool. Opened in 1966, the property is, indeed, steeped in culture. The colorful neon signage and flashing lightbulbs give the exterior charm, while interior elements -- such as the marble floor and mirrored ceiling in the lobby -- create a feeling of elegance and refinement.  

There are 690 rooms and suites at the Four Queens, all with timeless style and spacious floor plans. They are perfect for leisure or business travelers. Although there is no pool on the premises, guests are welcome to use the rooftop pool at Binion's, which features panoramic views of the city.

Hipsters head for the hotel's intimate Canyon Club showroom to see a variety of performers. It's got rustic oak décor, and the stage is surrounded by big sofas, coffee tables and simple folding chairs. Bands usually play late on weekend evenings. The early evenings are also magical, thanks to the comic trickery of Mike Hammer. 

For a memorable meal, step into Hugo's Cellar, a gourmet restaurant that opened with the resort. It's still operating and offers patrons the chance to go back in time and enjoy impeccable service paired with a sumptuous menu. Each woman is given a long-stemmed red rose, and all guests will be enchanted by the brick-lined walls and tableside salad preparation.

Magnolia's Veranda, a 24-hour coffee shop, is also a long-running favorite with visitors and in-the-know locals, thanks to its tempting $9.95 prime rib special.  The most recent eatery to appear on the premises is the Chicago Brewing Company. Along with handcrafted microbrews, you can bite into a fresh-baked pizza or kick back for a smoke in the cigar lounge. Quick and affordable snacks can be found at Subway, Noble Roman's Pizza and Dreyer's Ice Cream as well.  

The casino floor at the Four Queens is packed with a mix of table games. Slot and video poker machines run the gamut and are regularly updated to reflect the latest trends. For example, a bank of Paradise Fishing machines was recently installed. There are several bars as well, including a giant center bar just inside the main doors. A new outdoor bar is set up each night for passers-by at the east entrance, and a Chicago Brewing Company truck pours beers for thirsty visitors near the west entrance.  

Combining fun and comfort with a great location in the heart of downtown, the Four Queens is where to stay if you want to experience the best of Vegas' past and present.
