The saw tooth roofline of the Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel stands out among the skyline on Boulder Highway, bringing even more quality gaming, dining and entertainment to the off-Strip casino market in Las Vegas.

Unique in its design, the Eastside Cannery offers many visual references to the industrial era, utilizing brick and steel in various aspects both inside and out. Like its sister property in North Las Vegas, nostalgic murals decorate the outside of the building.

Within the new 16-story hotel tower, the 307 guest rooms and suites are reminiscent of the ongoing industrial theme of the property, but have a modern feel with upscale amenities like wide-screen plasma televisions.

The 65,000-square-foot casino keeps the action going with more than 2,000 slots, 26 table games, a bingo hall, race and sports book and first-class poker room.

Six restaurants tempt the palate, including the fire and ice-themed One Six on the top floor of the hotel. Carve features a prime rib carving station, while the award-winning Casa Cocina offers an array of Mexican dishes.

Live music can be found throughout the hotel, including in the pop art-inspired The Pinups Bar and the concert-style cocktail lounge, Marilyn's. The 18,000-square-foot Casablanca Room features headliner entertainment and boxing/wrestling/martial arts matches.

Overall, I think Vegas has arguable the best hotel value in America. The old strastophere rooms (that they have now updated) were my worst experience and still a 4 on a scale of 1-10. February 10, 2012

Nice, clean room but you will be charged for everything - coffee, internet, etc. The room was nice and fairly spacious, but as mentioned previously, the lack of the availability of the king bed, the fact that there was no coffee pot, and the charge for internet service lowered my overall experience.
