An older property that is showing its age but is a decent overall value if you are looking to stay within walking distance to the convention center. pro: it was located within easy walking distance to the convention center. cons: it's simply an old property that can't afford to upgrade or hire more and better quality of employee. Clarion was a nice, clean hotel for someone who doesn't need a 'fuss'. You don't have to walk 20 miles to your room, there are not people everywhere and it is close to the monorail or the strip if you prefer to walk.. not a fancy hotel but great location and very clean for a really great price Pros: free wiifii is always a plus Cons: there was limited entry way into the hotel. The lobby smelled of cigerrette smoke all the time. Maybe the smoking section should be of further distance from the entry ways and no smoking allowed in the casinos. Cigerette smoke is horrible and especially to those with breathing issues (i.e. asthmas etc.) May 23, 2011
