Safe bet + Economical; not Luxurious For those wishing to spend a minimum amount of money while staying on the strip this is a good choice for you. In terms of service and quality not close to the Aria, Bellagio, Venetian but not exactly a Motel 8. Perfectly average in every way. Staff was nice. Elevators were broken one day. But otherwise completely average! April 13, 2014
This hotel overall was good, but could use some updates. I think for the amount of money that you are paying to stay at this hotel it should offer more amenities in the room like, a microwave, and a small refrigerator. The rooms could also use a very good top to bottom cleaning, the room that I stayed in was clean, but could have been cleaner, the curtains had a small cigarette hole in it, the bed needed a blanket, not the thin sheets that were on the bed, the bathroom could have used some cleaning and maybe shower caps. This was my first time visiting Vegas and I enjoyed myself to the fullest, but there's certain standards that a hotel of his caliber should be meeting, if some minor detail to attention is done, this will most definitely my #1 choice when I come back to Vegas. It's not always about the big things, but the small things is what matters! April 11, 2014
I wasn't very impressed I've tried 5 other hotels in LV over the years and this one just didn't work out. The staff there were all very excellent, all very friendly and helpful. However, after booking 6 months in advance, they changed our room reservation when we got there. We either had to change rooms half way though our adventure to get the original room OR they could give us another room and a cot for the 4 days instead. We took the cot option. Each night, the giant outdoor lights were shining into our room through the curtains. It was very cool out, but we decided to brave the pool or at least the hot tub during the day. Unfortunately, the hot tub was out of order. On the previous LV trip I had at another hotel, my bill was less, my location I thought was even better and our room was fantastic and exactly as planned. April 9, 2014
location was the key for me. Even though under construction, location on strip was perfect. easy walk to monorail and neighboring hotels. Great breakfast buffet. small, but had everything you would want for breakfast at a great price. April 8, 2014
Energetic hotel with good location Mid strip location was perfect for our outings. Also convenient is that the hotel is adjacent to Paris, so one does not need to walk out to the Strip to get to additional dining options or shopping. There was construction outside the front of the hotel which made it a bit difficult to find the entrance. And there was an outdoor event that was so loud it ruined our attempt to sleep in on a Saturday morning, but that was not under the hotel's control. April 6, 2014
This hotel is in the middle of the strip I enjoy the pool and loved how it had a Dj. I loved how Balleys is right in the middle of everything. I enjoy my stay. April 2, 2014
Great hotel Ballys was the perfect hotel due to location and pricing. I highly recommend this hotel to all. April 1, 2014
I loved it! Sure will come back. I choose a room on high a floor it had a mazing view to Paris tower and Vegas Boulevard room was excellent, very clean and staff well trained me and my husband had a great time. April 1, 2014

Answer:
Your best bets are probably to either take a taxi or catch The Deuce, a gold double-decker bus, that serves the Strip, downtown and nearby surrounding areas. Bally's is home to a Las Vegas Monorail station, which won't get you downtown but will be great for any trips you make between Sahara Avenue and Tropicana Avenue (at the MGM Grand).

Answer:
Take the monorail, get off the last stop at Stratosphere. Once you take stairs to street level there is the bus stop right there that takes you to downtown. Bus number is 108 I believe. They do say it over the intercom once you get close to the last stop what bus to take to downtown.

Answer:
I don't know if this will help. We rented a nice car at Alamo rental for just a hundred bucks for four days. The parking in Vegas is free in most casinos. Driving is a little bit scary with all of the aggressive taxi drivers but we tried to stay off of the strip and took the back roads. We parked at the Golden Nugget in downtown and they stamped our parking garage slip in the casino so we got free parking. Freemont street was SOOOO much fun! I know they have a bus service in Las Vegas but we figured after paying for buses, taxis, and monorails that it would cost less to rent a car. Plus we drove out to Hoover Dam. That was worth the 45 minute trip! We only used about 1/2 of a tank of gas while we were there. If you do rent, be sure to take pics of all the scratches and dents on the car. We didnt have any problem but some people have. Alamo was a very good experience. No hassle and we rented the car from a kiosk! No high-pressure sales people. Sign up for Alamo club on-line and get a free upgrade.

Answer:
Catch the "Deuce". Its a shuttle bus that runs up and down the Strip all day/night. There is a stop right outside Bally's to the left towards Planet Hollywood. Pay for your pass at the automated machine located at the bus stop there. You can buy one-time pass, all day pass, or 3 day passes. The Deuce goes up to Freemont St &4th. You're there!!

Answer:
We used the RTC bus. It costs $5 per trip, or $7 for 24 hours. They have a local bus (double decker) and an express (accordian bus). Much cheaper than a cab fare. Drops you off right at Fremont Street and the local stops in front of most hotels. Very convienient to use.

The easiest and most inexpensive way to get to Fremont St. from any hotel on the strip is the Deuce (bus). A one day pass is $7 for unlimited trips. A cab ride from Bally's will run around $30 each way.

Self parking is free at Bally's. If you valet park, it is free, but you are expected to tip the valet guy when you pick up your vehicle. The bell staff can store your luggage if you check-in early and your room is not available.

Answer:
I suspect the parking is free (since most hotels want your business) but can confirm that there is a place to store your suitcases until your room becomes available. For an extra fee you can also get early arrival and get your room immediately. Paid an extra $20/day to upgrade to the North Tower where a room was immediately available at 9:00 AM when we arrived.

Hi,

Most of the classic/standard rooms do come with a chair and desk. To ensure that you get a room with a chair and desk, you can mention this to the person at the front desk when you check in. They will make sure that the room you're checking into has a chair and desk.
