Conveniently located in the shadow of the Stratosphere Tower, between the Strip and Downtown Las Vegas, the OG Gentlemen's Club was the first real modern Vegas strip club. It was luxurious, it was huge and the women were the stuff of heaven. That was more than 10 years ago, and many bigger and ritzier clubs have opened since then. But it was the OG, formerly Olympic Garden, that set the standard.
To walk into the OG today is to walk into a bit of a time warp. Not much has changed during the last decade of debauchery at the OG. It's still the same old club. Hell, it sounds like the DJ is using the same hair metal play list that he did in '94. However, that's not necessarily such a bad thing. This quintessential strip club sports a spacious main room with four, satellite style tipping stages, cashier cage, snack bar and main bar. These stages offer a lot of variety for your dollar slinging pleasure. And let's face it - variety is, indeed, the spice of life.
Speaking of variety, the OG used to actually suffer from a lack of it. Back in the day, it was mainly surgically enhanced blonde-haired women gracing the club's stages. Nowadays, there's a much more worldly variety, but don't worry; there are still plenty of surgically enhanced blonde-haired women. The ladies aren't too aggressive, and for the most part seem to enjoy themselves. More importantly, they are all quite gorgeous.
OG is one of the few strip joints to offer something for the female customer as well: The Men of Olympus, an all male revue performing on the second floor of the club. Despite the competition from newcomers offering male revues, this is the original, and many ladies still say the best.
Adding to this one-stop shop of adult pleasure, the second floor is home to the afterhours club Insomnia. This party starts as most nightclubs are winding down, 3 or 4 a.m. depending on the night, and features some of the same DJs you'll find on the Strip. Other nightclub staples like VIP booths with bottle service are available along with go-go dancers.
Of course this is OG, though, so you won't feel conflicted when choosing between lap dances downstairs or dancing with fully-clothed girls upstairs (we know which one would win). Dancers of the topless variety are allowed in Insomnia unlike some other strip club-nightclub hybrids.
The OG might be hard-pressed to compete with the some of the newer, ritzier juggernaut strip clubs, but there's no denying a classic. Besides, the ladies certainly make the trip worthwhile.
