Bagatelle Beach has debuted this season as part of Las Vegas' thriving pool club scene.
The St. Tropez-inspired playground features décor elements that will transport you from the desert to a lush tropical oasis. There are two large pools and white sand beach areas, where guests can enjoy activities like bocce ball, volleyball on two regulation courts and even beach soccer.
Utilizing a design that is minimalist -- but far from plain and simple -- the look and feel here are very sleek. Bagatelle Beach is packed with plush sea blue daybeds and "lilypads" (i.e., a playful circular version of the daybeds). Some are covered in white flowing draperies for added allure. Plus, for those with deep pockets, there are beautiful wood plank-accented cabanas furnished with ceiling fans, mini fridges and flat-screen TVs.
Music is of the utmost importance here. A raised 1,500-square-foot stage houses state-of-the-art sound equipment as well as a 25-foot-by-9-foot LED screen, and flexible seating allows the venue to accommodate up to 4,000 people for concerts. A lineup of DJs and live music acts is scheduled for the summer that includes some of the country's most renowned artists.
The drinks are always flowing at Bagatelle Beach. Two full-service bars pour traditional favorites as well as concoct cocktails like the Pamplemousse, A'Riki Tiki and Sangri-Le -- all of which feature fine liqueurs blended with fresh fruit juices. Several types of bottle service options are also available.
Bagatelle Beach is a food lover's paradise too. Executive Chef John Zamarchi has created a menu of gourmet eats that can be ordered poolside or in the bistro-style dining lounge. Some standout items are the fresh snapper ceviche, BBQ chicken flatbread, blackened Mahi tacos, Thai steak salad and classic cheese quesadillas. Partiers still recovering the night before will want to order the Hangover Helper, a croissant filled with bacon, eggs and cheese. Plus, there are an array of sandwiches and salads.
And every Sunday guests can enjoy the decadent Champagne-fueled Bagatelle Brunch, which has been transported from the famed Bagatelle locations in New York, Los Angeles and St. Barth's.
