Your words were brave that time you went to a rodeo and exclaimed that you could ride a 2,000-pound bull just as easily as those professionals out there. And with no one jumping up to let you climb on a bull, you walked away from your foolhardy comments without harm.
But now thanks to the folks at PBR Rock Bar, the newest bar inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, your buddies are going to be sure to let your words come back and bite you.
PBR Rock Bar lives up to its bull-riding namesake with a mechanical bull inside one of the most realistic setups in Vegas. The bull lives inside metal corral fencing, just waiting for you to take a ride -- that is if you're brave enough.
But perhaps you need a little liquid courage before climbing aboard. PBR Rock Bar is more than a fancy place to ride a fake bull. The bar comes from the same folks who brought you Rockhouse Bar and Nightclub.
That means the same guitar souvenir cups you loved so much are available here. PBR makes it easy with a walk-up window inside the Miracle Mile Shops to provide that adult beverage when shopping is taking too long.
And when football season is in full swing -- or any other sporting event for that matter -- PBR has you covered with 105 high-definition TVs, which means no matter where you look you're going to have a handful of TVs within site. If you're outside you don't have to miss the games either, thanks to TVs surrounding the outside bar.
While much of PBR Rock Bar is in place, there are numerous additions on the way. Most of them revolve around the décor and getting the full nightlife element in place. But PBR's general manager, Mateo Reyes, said he was more concerned about getting everything right rather than trying to rush the process.
One of the biggest additions coming up is bull rider memorabilia. You will see the bar transform into a semi-shrine to the brave (or crazy) bull riders with chaps, hats and other items on display from riders like Ty Murray, who you may know from "Dancing With the Stars."
And your friends may be sure to remind you about that time you called out those dancers from "Dancing With the Stars." So which words would you rather try to live up to, that you can ride a fake bull or that you can wear skin-tight clothes and dance the samba?
