Combining a sports bar and upscale lounge, The Ainsworth at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is a trendy hotspot.
The 3,500-square-foot space is intimate yet offers all of the amenities a sports fan could want including HD flat-screen televisions (which transform into antique framed mirrors when not in use) and a betting station operated by Cantor Gaming. The lounge aspect of the venue is evident in the rustic dark wood walls and floors, crystal chandeliers and leather booths.
Even if sports aren’t your thing, or if your team just has a hard time with the whole winning part of the game (*cough* Buccaneers), a DJ spins music during the commercial breaks of football games and bottle service and table reservations are available.
The Ainsworth serves a full drink menu and a small food menu. Unique specialty cocktails include the Hot and Spicy Margarita with Don Julio Blanco, Grand Marnier, fresh key lime juice and fresh jalapeno. For something a bit sweeter, try the Blind Stud, made with Belvedere Pink Grapefruit, fresh lime, sour, ginger beer and absinthe.
If you're hungry, The Ainsworth has a menu of classic sports bar food like wings, sliders and burgers, as well as options like tuna tacos, grilled chicken satay and a truffled chicken chopped salad made with mixed greens, red onions, celery, mushrooms and black truffle vinaigrette.
When sports aren't on at night The Ainsworth still offers plenty to keep you entertained whether it's live music, karaoke or the Thursday '80s nights where servers and guests dress in their best '80s clothes as '80s music plays and '80s movies are shown on the big flat screens.
The Ainsworth also has a great happy hour Sunday - Friday from 8 - 11 p.m. with $5 drinks.
