McFadden's Irish Pub Review
But where in Sin City can you catch a little bit of the luck of the Irish? Sure, you could maybe name a handful of places, but a definitive throwback to the Emerald Isle? We're left a little wanting - until now.
Taking up residence on the ground floor of the Rio, McFadden's Irish Pub makes you yearn to add one more stamp to your passport, the one that declares you had your fun in Ireland.
With a spacious, 7,000-square-foot layout (including a private party room that can accommodate up to 150 people), McFadden's has more than enough room to fit your party and all the Irish jokes that come with it.
More than 20 high-definition, plasma televisions are scattered throughout the bar (which doubles as a restaurant), making certain that you won't miss a second of your beloved football club's match up (and if you think we're talking about the gridiron here, we might have to red card you).
The bar, and this time we mean the place the bartenders are stationed, not the whole venue, stretches 100 feet long, which means getting a pint of one of the dozens of draught beers McFadden's serves up is as easy as finding a Notre Dame fan in Indiana.
If that isn't enticement enough, promotional materials for McFadden's point out just how perfectly suited the bar is for dancing on. But what will I dance to, you ask? With a set of dueling pianos and DJ Soup Can in charge of the bar's musical ambience, you'd better believe there'll be something worth dancing to.
If the thought of dancing and drinking the night away makes you a little hungry, make sure to check out McFadden's restaurant menu, which features that old Irish favorite - potatoes - in heavy rotation. There's also more than enough bar food, like boneless Buffalo wings, to sate even the heartiest of appetites.
The pub also welcomes in celebrity guest from time to time, including "Entourage" star Kevin Dillon and wild man Steve-O. Erin go bragh? Sure, but Erin also go McFadden's.
