Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville Review

Parrotheads are "wasting away again" in Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville at the Flamingo Las Vegas.

Buffett's song "Margaritaville" evokes thoughts of tropical islands and exotic drinks, and this bar and restaurant aims to do the same.

Margaritaville has a nautical theme and a festive atmosphere complete with stiltwalkers roaming through the crowds, making balloon hats for everyone.

Buffett fanatics will get their fix as the singer's signature songs play continually along with accompanying video throughout the restaurant. Patrons can also dance the night away to live entertainment, performing both indoors and outdoors.

The three-level facility features a large outdoor balcony overlooking the Strip. It's the perfect spot to relax, enjoy the weather and have a meal or a drink while watching the action below.

There are several bars including the centerpiece Volcano Bar, a three-story volcano that erupts over the bar, spilling margarita mix into two giant 300-gallon blenders every hour.

Margaritas and other tasty frozen specialty drinks such as the "Volcano Blast" or the "Last Mango in Paris" average about $7.

The restaurant features island-inspired food including fresh fish, steak and the signature Cheeseburger in Paradise, a 7-ounce burger.

Don't forget to "nibble on sponge cake" for dessert or try the key lime pie.

Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville is a mecca for Parrotheads or for anyone who wants to have a good time in the ultimate tropical setting.
