From the same team that created south-of-the-border sensation Señor Frogs, comes Carlos'n Charlie's, the laid-back restaurant and bar that is one of the most popular destinations in Mexico.

Carlos'n Charlie's opened its first location in Acapulco in 1970, immediately attracting tourists and locals alike with its great food, loud music and party-like atmosphere. Today, Carlos'n Charlie's has 11 locations in Mexico and the United States, including the Flamingo.

Located adjacent to the hotel's race & sports book, Carlos'n Charlie's spans more than 8,000 square feet and serves lunch and dinner nightly.

Carlos'n Charlie's is known for partying and the place to party is outside on the massive wooden deck overlooking the Flamingo's lush pool and garden area. The deck, with room for 200 guests, has a Caribbean ambience and is equipped with umbrellas and misters. There's also a large bar that seats 40 and has multiple TVs so you don't miss a minute of your favorite game.

Guests are free to unwind and encouraged to dance to the tunes of the '70s, '80s and current hits of today. Party-goers can choose from an extensive bar menu featuring Carlos'n Charlie's famous margaritas, sangria and a lengthy selection of signature cocktails including the Paloma, a tequila-based libation with grapefruit soda topped off with a salt-rimmed glass and lime wedge.

The bartenders wear T-shirts emblazoned with the words “Boredom Patrol” on the back and they do make sure the crowds are always having fun.

Flair bartenders keep guests entertained on the patio. Keep an eye out for Coco, the “king of mixology” a bottle juggling mixologist. The staff also routinely breaks out to perform choreographed dances together.

The food menu offers a wide variety of authentic Mexican favorites such as tacos, burritos, chimichangas, enchiladas and fajitas. Guests can also create their own tableside guacamole with Carlos'n Charlie's interactive guacamole cart, for the perfect unique blend. Signature dishes include fish Baja tacos and The Mayan Pyramid nachos, which like the name suggests, are a huge pile of chips, cheese, sour cream and pico de gallo.
